By passing internet stuffFollow

So I'm on an internet server that keeps dcing me form wow like every 15 seconds... I think its because of the whole "Web Filter" crap.... anyone know a reg hack around this so that my connection always stays on?

Depends on what your ISP is. Some it is a limitation of the physical hardware (such is the case for most satellite systems, as they transmit via bursts, for example). Also, I will say to be cautious with the matter. Many ISPs take a no nonsense policy on such things, and will gladly cut your service if you break their TOS. The best solution is to contact your ISP, explain the situation, and deal with it from there.

I think that you recently mentioned being in Russia, is that the case? You may have special problems related to where you are. You probably need to check with customer service and with any Russian players you might know. Also check to see if the system you're using is clean.

You may want to see if Tunneling (tunneling means redirecting ports, such that WOW uses a port such as the http port) may work or something like Tor (TOR is an anonimizing proxy -- you'd not be needing the anonimizing part).

I know tunneling has been used in some places like schools to make WOW usable.

I can't say if they'll work -- but, they are ideas.
