So, I quit a little bit after Cata came out. I remember being really excited about Cata, especially after hearing that the beta testers were doing things like comparing the heroics to BC difficulty and such. Then is came out, and I just decided I couldn't do it again, all the grinding and such. Didn't help I hated the goblin starting area and my guild had disintegrated a bit during a short absence of mine. Anyway, how are the dungeons now? Has it just devolved into face rolling lol-roics again, or is this expansion truly better for those interested in end game? Honestly, my other worry is what ended up happening late BC where it was impossible to get started to gear up because no one wanted to group with a newbie. Really only coming back because my friend is starting again too, but want to know what to expect.
I apologize if this exact question has been asked before. I looked over a few pages and didn't see it, but have been known to be blind when I search. Figured now was a good time to ask, however, given the release of firelands and all. Also, on a smaller note, does the release of firelands mean the death of the other raids, again like with what happened in WotLK? I missed a lot of content it felt like to people just wanting to gear farm and viewing the in between content as a waste of time, again a big reason I got tired of the game (I know, I need to finder a better guild this time around). Thanks for your responses.
