Recently upgraded to Cataclysm. Can’t seem to find the boat to Northrend from Stormwind anymore. Am I missing something? Is there another way to get to Northrend (portal)?
I noticed if you accept the initial quest that will take to you to Deepholm, then the Northrend boat will not be visible at the dock, until you either complete that quest or drop it. Maybe that's what is happening for you?
You should have another boat or something to get you to the other side of NR correct? Horde has the Orgimmar zep that takes you to BT, and one in UC that takes you to HF. So there should be one probably in Darnassus or Exodar that takes you to the opposite side? It might be inconvenient but it will get you there.

I just completed deepholm last night, so we'll see how that works. As far as something from rutheran village, I'll check that too. Thank you both.

The initial quest for Deepholm shouldn't cause a problem. It's the Vashj'ir starting quest that will phase the boat to Northrend. Head to Menethil Harbor for the other boat to Northrend.
Edit: I should at least google words that I am not 100% sure on. :l

Yeah, Vashj'ir sounds right, I must have been misremembering. Knew it was one of those under the ocean places.
Buy a port and avoid the docks.

If you drop the Vashj'ir starting quest, that should also fix the problem. At least it did for me a few months ago.
It will fix it, I would just recommending people at least do the initial quest chain there. Sea pony ftw!

I think it may actually be from Menethil Harbor as opposed to Rutheran, though it's been forever since I last took it. BRB, checking a wiki.
Edit: Yep.
Edit2: That's what I get for relying on ctrl-F instead of reading. Someone beat me to it but spelled it differently.

Just complete the vashjr starting quest and it'll return to normal.
