...makes no sense.

You unlock the daily by doing the Hyjal quest chain. Part of that chain consists of resurrecting Malorne. This quest is unavailable until Malorne has been resurrected, and yet the premise of this quest is that these are fragments of his spirit that can be of use, even though Malorne is no longer with them.

But he is.

And he HAS to be in order for you to get this quest.

And then randomly, after the quest, he's standing in the sanctuary. But he's in some kind of spectral form.

I AM SO CONFUSED.

I thought of that too, but then I just shrugged, and thought "whatever".

The reason I don't like this daily is because the stupid ghosts run around so much, and you have to have *good* latency to actually catch up to them, or just pray that they come across you (it happens sometimes) and then, hopefully you're not doing the dailies during primetime... ugh.

Yeah, and they move as fast as a normal epic flying mount, it seems. So catching them is such a pain. -.-

Don't try to catch them up. Land in front of one and let it run into you.

Yeah, that's what I eventually did. But it proved to be almost as difficult.

I got this daily for the first time earlier today. Everytime I seen one "run" by, I would click as fast as I could till I got 4. There were a lot of people doing the same daily and was a bit of a pain.

You don't need to click them, you just need to get close to them.

Lol, I believe that. :P

I'm pretty sure this is going to be my least favorite daily for a while. It's even worse than the portal/salves ones. Those just take forever, but aren't frustrating otherwise.

I did mine today while doing a kill mobs one at the same time. Just dragged the mobs to where the deer path around. Stop trying to get to the deer, its a waste of time.

Every time I tried to just wait patiently, some other person would swoop in and land right in front of me just before the deer got there. >:(

I didn't get the portal/slave one yet, thanks for the heads up. I've only been off and on all weekend, I just noticed today that a NPC sold rings in the cave in the Molten Fields.

That quest literally took me 10 minutes. AFTER I finished the kill quest.

The burn victims quest is particularly bad too. There aren't enough of them for the population doing the quest, so everyone camps each healthy druid waiting for them to dramatically fall to the ground.

Yeah Between the Trees daily does suck if you don't pick certain afk spots then go get a drink while the quest does itself. I haven't had that kind of trouble with the burn quest, maybe pick a less busy time of the day to do it? The only quest that gets my goat is the killing of the elites one. You will pull an elite and people will sit there and watch you kill it and when it appears you are going to win run over and pull a different one. I inform them that you get credit for the kill regardless when you hit is, as long as you hit it, and I get called some horrible names. Stupid elites and really stupid players. /grumble

It's as much fun as a boomkin at a Naxx summoning?

As a result of this, my current strategy for this is to follow one of /them/ around, let them tag the guy, then follow the first one that moves off, rinse and repeat.

Fun times all around. Even for someone who doesnt have pvp gear. Well, unless you are trying to actually do the dailies.
