URGENT PVP QUESTIONFollow

NEED HELP! PLEASE READ! I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE WHO'S HAD THIS PROBLEM!

Ok so I've tried the PvP battlegrounds a few times with a bunch of different classes: Paladin, Shaman, Mage, Hunter; all from levels 10-19. AND I AM GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED because for some reason I don't stand a sliver of a chance against someone my own level let alone a higher level. I get 1 hit KO'd by 70% of the players and 2-3 it KO'd by 25% and about 5% I can fight for a little before losing. I end up finishing with 1 finishing blow (One I steal out of desperation) and about 5-15 deaths. And any duel I enter I almost always lose. I have the strategy, I use precise macros and own in PvE but in PvP I don't even have time to attack. I just dont get it because I was only lv 10-20 in these groups but how could they have the ability to 1hKO me? HOW? I cant find any answers online NONE.

Do I simply suck? because I have all the skills for my level and I'm pretty sure my gear is suitable for someone of my level, I have no problems in PvE but somehow I regardlessly suck at WoW I don't even....

Is it because these really good players get gear from higher level accounts? Because these guys are doing 150-300 damage with every hit whereas I'm doing 30-50 for regular attacks. But then these guys just come up and tank me in a few hits without even thinking about it

What am I doing wrong? What can I improve? Am I not skilled enough in WoW? Does my Gear suck? Is my account Gliched (It's a Trial I am on right now my account recently expired)? Is it normal for say; a lv 14 Druid to 1hKO a lv 11 Mage? I just don't know but surely I couldn't just be a horrible player am I?

*Bonus Question*
What's with players zooming at me in half a second? Because I'm using frost spells to attack from far away and slow them down and win and be awesome like I do in PvE but they just get like 3% damage and zoom directly at me and pwn my mage and hunter with melee.

THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANY1 THAT ACTUALLY HELPS ME!!!!

More than likely it's players using heirloom gear. Heirlooms are special armor and weapons that increase in power with your character, and are bound to your account rather than any 1 character. You're going to be at a severe disadvantage both in terms of health pool and the amount of damage you can do. Low-level BGs have never really been balanced, unfortunately.

Also, using your [Shift] key less and your [Enter] key more makes it easier to read what you post.

Edit: Charge

Don't forget that people who do a lot of PVP will have special PVP gear, including trinkets that will let them escape effects that limit their movement.

Like Astar said, melee classes have closing abilities that help them catch up to you. You get abilities to help you get away. Both melee and ranged classes have a number of these at the level cap; however each class gets escape/closing abilities at different levels, so in some level brackets it's more one-sided.

As for you dying a lot, it's likely due to experienced players in heirloom gear.

Here's what they're doing.

Here's someone else who's also been frustrated by it.

You can catch up a little by getting good quality gear for your class, enchanting it, and practicing a lot. But you probably won't be overpowering anyone until you have a level capped character feeding your own alts good gear.

You were right! I looked up a randoom hunter that killed me in 2 shots and he's got armor that gives him almost 3000 Armor and a bow that does 155.7 dps....

last question; how is this fair to n00bs like me? lol don't answer that but srsly that kinda sucks for me

You're lacking experience.

Gear is a big factor, but until you know more about your class and other classes, skilled players will continue to kill you. Try leveling up and doing some higher level BGs. The gear disparity shouldn't be quite as bad in the middle levels(it gets even worse as you approach end game levels and people in high level PvP epics kill your blue wearing character).

And, tbh, some classes are just ridiculously OP in various brackets. But trying to fix that is a huge undtertaking for very little reward, so it'll stay.

This has always been the case, of course. But the introduction of spec skills is pretty huge for some classes. Like explosive arrow, mutilate and mortal strike.

Bubbles, your water elemental, should have his frost nova ability, and you got frost nova at level 8 and got or will get blink at level 16. Blink lets you get out of a stun, and frost nova will root your enemy in place for a few seconds or until they take a certain amount of damage.
