My favorite spell would have to be Consecration. It's been with me since the beginning as something I use regularly. Which pallies have very few other tools to say that about.

Now to ponder what's scarier: a poisonous snake shot out of a bow at my face, or a bear dropping out of the sky on me?

Snake certainly has the fear factor, but I'm not sure anything spells doom like a flying bear about to land on you.

And it's settled; flying bears are deadly.

I don't go around randomly ganking people.

Unless you're in Tol Barad ...

Sap and gouge. Sap just because I used to sit in stealth and sap and sap and sap and watch people get enraged as they tried to find me.

Gouge because tab-gouging people as I was mid-sprint was lulzy.

Honorable mentions: Recuperate, Redirect, and Smoke Bomb. All three had awesome PvP use.

In arena, if you want to easily gouge your focus mid-sprint, don't bother tabbing. Use this macro:

#showtooltip Gouge
/cast Gouge
/cast [target=focus] Gouge

Thanks Jord, I know how a macro works. Smiley: tongue

btw, you can better write that second/third line as "/cast [@focus] Gouge; Gouge".

I thought we were acting under the assumption Theo was senile, did I read the memo wrong?

Levitate also conserves momentum, a fact that I exploited for perhaps my favorite moment in WoW. Shortly before Cata came out I dragged a priest friend with me to the southern end of Winterspring and had them cast levitate on me as I used my rocket boots to jump out over Azshara. I landed out near where you would fish for Maws. Depending on your angle you might well have been able to jump the whole zone and land/die of fatigue in/near Durotar.

I always wanted to try jumping off Teldrasil with rocket boots and feather fall and seeing if I could make it to Auberdine. Never got around to it, though.

You still could, I'd probably go with levitate, especially with the new 10 minute duration. I pulled just over two minutes of flight time on my long jump and would have had a wee bit more distance had I been paying attention and popped my chute, though I was in danger of running out of map at that point.

I'm surprised nobody has said stealth. That to me is easily the best thing in the game when you can become completely invisible to everything around you.

I guess my "fun" favorite is just the rogues ability to distract. Picture this warsong gulch situation with me.

The gates slowly rise up as the deep horn signaling the beginning of the battle belows, echoing through the landscape. You and your allies are trampling down the slopes and cliff sides to reach the opposing army. As you reach midfield you look on as the enemy army stampedes their way towards you in a large cluster of impending doom. Their mounts panting under the merciless pace set when suddenly....everyone stops to stare at a small piece of ground just behind them. Confused, the all seem to twitch back and fourth until they regain their sense of direction.

...what's sad is I don't even play a rogue. I live vicariously through my roommate.

Completely unrelated comment: OMG SOMEONE'S SIGGED ME!!! First step on the way to a green name is complete.

My favourite spell is the Holy Light of the WotLK era. You felt like a healing beast and the splash from the glyph combined with Beacon was just awesome. In the current status the only spell that makes me feel like such a boss is Lay on Hands, it can completely change a fight.

Pfft, a bunch of people have put quotes of mine in their sig, and I'm nowhere close to being a Sage.

I don't think I've ever been sigged. Can't remember if I have, at least.

But I see no reason to assume I'll ever be anything but a scholar. I'm not that helpful. :P

Ya, that was funny.

Also I never been sig'd before. I'm ok with it. Not even bitter a little.

I'm currently sigged by at least 2 people. Smiley: grin I do have my rare occasions where I say something random that's amusing.

I want to say that at one point I was sigged by a noobie poster, but that's probably my Ego or my Id making things up.
I'm fine with never being quoted, I'd rather be invaluable than infamous.
Or some cheesy **** like that.

My favorite move?

"Hey baby, does this smell like chloroform to you?"

Oh, wait. You meant WoW. I'll go with Path of Frost. Nothing quite like making the run to Gadgetzan along the sea in record time! Impact is fun too; I imagine a dude on fire with all my DoTs and his buddies pointing at him and laughing, until impact hits and lights them up too. Got the giggles just thinking about it :)

Living Bomb

I'm sorry but maybe it's the evil overlord in me but I happen to enjoy the thought of setting people on fire and THEN blowing them up.

It's like the whip cream on a sundae you don't really need it but it's just fun to have.
