Ok so here is the issue. I have had connection issues with WoW, everytime I would try to log on the game would just go to "Not Responding" and I wont be able to play at times. My originaly thought to this problem was its happening because I have windows 7. So what I found online to do is to go to Control panel and in the search box I hit Troubleshooting. And then I clicked Programs made for other versions of windows to try to get them compatible. what ended up happening is that the game became more terrible to play. I just cannot log onto the game anymore. What my question for help is does anyone know how I could reverse this and get it back to my original settings? Here is the link to the site where I got this info http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-gaming/world-of-warcraft-is-not-responding/b067640e-9b3f-4f7b-aa4f-843d17bfd29c . Thank you guys for your time and help :)

If you started playing in compatibility mode, you can reverse it by right clicking on the icon or program you changed, and selecting Properties. Then look for the Compatibility tab on the top of the Properties window. Uncheck "Run the program in compatibility mode".

Another thing you can do when you change things and they start getting worse, is to use System Restore. Click the Start Button and go to All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Select "choose a different restore point" and click next. Put a check in "Show more restore points". Pick a date prior to your having problems, select it, and click next to start the restore of system settings and files to an earlier time.

By the way, I have no problem playing wow with Windows 7 on two different pc. The best place to look for specific answers to technical issues playing wow is the official Blizzard tech support forums.

If in your original problem you mean that your game responds with a Microsoft message that the program is not responding, you may want to run wow's repair.exe program, remove all addons from wow's interface\addons\ directory, or even delete the entire wow program directory and reinstall the game from scratch (should be downloadable from Battlenet).

This is also a good time to ask if you have a backup of your entire wow directory (yes, I know it is big). I have my pc take backups of the entire wow folder daily, weekly, and monthly, and put it on an external USB drive. Last night, I accidentally deleted the wrong power auras settings, and it was an easy thing to get them back from my nightly copy. Keep a backup of wow in a working state, then you can go back to it with a simple copy.
