Discovered this little addon while reading Greedy Goblin today. Seems simple and a huge help to find healers in PvP (bgs and TB).
It seems to be causing a huge comotion over the o-boards.

Honestly, I don't see it as a problem and neither I think it's "unfair". But I'm not sure an addon is supposed to be able to do that.

That's neat and is pretty much only useful in large scale bg's. I don't see the big fuss. I mean I guess it's causing healers to get trained much quicker in bg's and such, in arena I don't see it as being an issue, hell even tool tip addons can find the spec and show you.

Even clicking the character itself will show you, paladin with like 80k mana? Holy Pally. Druid with 10k mana? Feral Druid.

Its mostly for TB and bgs, yes. When there are too many people running around and you cant find the damn healer.
I dont usually pvp but when I do I go as a healer. Im noticing im getting more targeted than usual, but, even so, I think this is a good help.
It helps me to improve my skill in surviving while being focused, wich usually only happen in arenas.

If you need that to spot healers, you need to stop sucking.

It's "commotion" btw.

I dont need, I dont pvp. A TB fight here and there, but I think the last one I did was 3 or so months ago.
And thanks for correcting my huge mistake. English is not my main language, always good to learn something new. I mean, I forgot an "m" in commotion. Yeah, my engrish is teh suck, amiright?

Btw, I dont think good raiders need DBM either, but that doesnt stop them from using it.
But, of course, you can just dismiss this as something "for baddies".

Don't mind Theo Brisin. He gets a kick out of ridiculing others. Smiley: wink2 Especially when it comes to PvP.

I thought hilarious that he tried to ridicule my post because I forgot an "m" but failed to read that I pvp as a healer, rendering the "if you need this to kill a healer you are bad" part pretty meaningless.
Other than that, he is entitled to have whatever opinion he may have as much as I am. :)

I'd rather have the 30ms back from an addon making even more crap appear on my screen. The healers are the ones casting healing spells, right?

As a related note: This "auto-marking healers" thing has been around for a long time. It's called Chain Heal.

Not sure why you care enough to get offended by that Theo jerk then. Water meets duck back? =P

I didnt got offended about the pvp part. I probably am a bad pvper, since Im unexperienced on it, though I do have brains and know the basic rules, like dont fight in the middle, etc.
I thought the rest of the comment worth a reply, though.

TL;DR I'm bored at work and decided to continue the discussion.

That is what I do as well, not really hard to find healers. Honestly, anything with a mana bar usually needs to die before those without them.

It's also Helpful. Not helpfull.
And healers are EASY to spot. They're the ones sitting at the back of the pack healing.
This is one of those "How far do you REALLY need to go?" addons.
