I'm no paladin expert, but my guess would be prot spec. If you're doing that, then I will let a pally answer.

I'm assuming by "Superior level" you're meaning Elite? Also, it would help to know what spec you're in, what exactly you're doing to prepare yourself to attack, and what you do when you do attack.

Well a bit of searching reveals that he is no longer an elite mob. Due to being a paladin you should be able to completely decimate him without blinking. He does seem to have a decently large health pool though. Remember to use WoG whenever you have three stacks of holy power if you are protection or retribution and don't be afraid to lay on hands once you are about to die. Good luck and happy hunting.

Edit: Oh and if you are holy pop Divine Favor and Exorcism spam. He should be dead before even reaching you. :P

Private server player, maybe?

Or maybe I'm just being suspicious and paranoid.

Some of Gregfripp's other posts leads me to believe that he is either completely unfamiliar with the game and various search engines that help with quests or he is trying to troll us with questions that would get the O-board riled up. I personally hope it is the former not the latter so that I feel answering his questions won't be a complete waste of time (other than the obvious upping post counts).

If for some reason you are back to this thread Gregfripp become familiar with http://www.wowhead.com/. While it can be a bit intimidating trying to navigate that database, the information contained on that site is extremely helpful when it comes to answering your basic WoW questions. I know it is one of the sites I go to whenever I have a question that isn't obvious at first glance.

You're suspicious and paranoid, but that may just indicate that someone is really out to get you. In this case, I'd be tempted to agree with the private server or troll theories. Wasn't this the mob from a warlock quest? Wowhead shows the nerf was in 2.3 and lists the quest as no longer available, leaving one to wonder how a paladin is doing it and how it shows as an elite mob. Even our servers are well beyond the 2.3 patch.

WowHead does show the old version of Kroshius which was added in 1.11 which you had to kill for the Warlock quest to learn the Summon Infernal spell. The comments mention that he was a 55 Elite, and I do remember doing this quest on my human warlock, although she was probably level 58+ by the time I found this quest.

The newer level 48 non-elite Kroshius, should be possible to tackle at even a few levels lower depending on your class.

Nothing to add other than Spooky needs to change his (her?) location to sunny Vancouver. It's gorgeous out, finally!

True enough, although I've been in and out of hospitals & clinics since Friday due to uncontrolled hypertension and don't really have a sunny outlook currently. Hopefully, my health will improve enough so that I can enjoy the great weather.

Prot is really fun to level now. You shouldn't have a problem if you spec Prot.
