I can appreciate that.

Wait, so you stop once you can't tell them apart? Why?

Maybe they're so similar, continuing beyond the point of indifferentiability would lead to alcohol poisoning.

Edit: I think I just made a word up. Oh well, I clicked the post button so I'm going with it.

Nah, it's a minimum.

Goddammit, I can not be 21 fast enough.

Maybe I should just go somewhere I can drink. It's 18 in most of Europe, right?

18 to get into most bars, but 16 to buy alcohol (18 for liquor, though).

My boyfriend E and one of our friends are both from New Mexico, and they were both raving about how awesome green chilies are. E's mom went up to Portland a while back and got a big can of green chilies, and he gave them to our friend and she made us dinner last week with them. ^_^ I'd never had an authentic New Mexican dinner before, and it was really tasty.

I don't really have any plans for tonight though. We're broke still (other than food stamps, which renew for the month today), so no going out and partying. I could whine about how you should be able to buy tequilia with food stamps, but really I don't think that's a good idea lol.

Where'd she get the green chile? I have difficulty finding the good stuff up here. Chile/salsa (Safeway Southwest is surprisingly tasty, and not as salty as typical salsas so it's works better as an ingredient compared to a garnish), refried beans, flour tortillas and a bit of cheese makes for a great quick and easy lunch.

Err... I'm not sure exactly. I'll have to ask him. I'm not too familiar with Portland to be honest. =x

Cinco de Mayo is a regional holiday limited primarily to the state of Puebla. There is some limited recognition of the holiday in other parts of the country.

Cinco de Mayo is nothing...Just a reason to drink Mexican beer (Guess it's ok).

And you like Pink Floyd too. Smallsword approves.

A friend of mine tried to get lots of people she knows to try chili-coated lollipops. Smallsword does not approve of ruining lollipops with chili.

At home it's 5,in a restaurant with a meal the legal drinking age is 16 in the UK. 18 in a pub. Really explains a lot when you think about it.

You might not want to move here then. 18 to get into bars and 18 to buy alcohol. 20 to buy liquor.

Thankfully I'm past 20 now.

Let's be honest, who doesn't like Pink Floyd?

I remember one day in high school when a friend of mine was singing the lyrics to Have A Cigar (a guy who wouldn't know a song that was over twelve years old if it bit him in the face). Really surprised by it, I asked him how the hell he knew those lyrics. He looked at me as if I was stupid and said, "it's a Foo Fighters song!" ... If there was a baby nearby, I would have kicked it between goal posts to vent my rage.

That is the only correct response to that scenario.

I've seen Waters twice.

Mind blowing shows, did a lot of Animals the first time and more WYWH and DSotM then second time with a lot of the Wall for both. He did mostly PF stuff both times so it was pretty bad ass

And, just because I like to stir up a rage-induced vomit, here's a clip of Miley Cyrus singing Smells Like Teen Spirit. The end of the world isn't looking so far away now, is it?

lol, Digg (I think) already shared that clip with us over in the Druid thread. =x It's Everywhere!
