So are you just copy pasting that story and looking for threads it could be SLIGHTLY relevant in, so you can post it again?
Because we're pretty tired of hearing the newbie talk about his stonecore runs.

So far I've tried pugging these 3 runs each with only 1 success: A 90-minute ZG group with a fantastic healer. The only other clears I've done have been guild groups with people I've been raiding with since t4. Most of whom are bringing 346-350ish geared alts.

The instances are not gear checks as far as I can tell really, they're performance checks. edit: And checks on the willingness of the players to suck it up after a wipe and learn the encounters before they're made rofl-stomping easy like every other 5-man.

Yeah... last night I was in a GB group that wiped about 4 times on the blitz boss and three times on Valiona and I stuck with it. Mostly because three of my BiS items come out of there. That's dedication. How was I rewarded? The wand dropped off Forgemaster and the other priest who as healing won the need roll and then dropped group. Nothing else dropped for me. I'm still bitter.

You shouldn't talk sh*t when you don't know who you're talking to. Therion's been playing pretty much continually since BC at least, and he's not the type to troll trade chat. Plus, judging by your lack of correct grammar and spelling, I'd guess he's a lot more intelligent than you as well.

He's the type of person that makes the WoW community better, not worse. People who can't handle a few wipes and are entitled whiners are the ones who make the community terrible. I'm not directly saying that you're this type of person, but I am implying it.

Also, don't talk **** about my guildie, or I will cut you.

thanks for contributing to the reason why this game has a terrible community

Ditto.

My point being that you're admitting that you'd rather wait for the content to be nerfed so you can stroll through without having to think instead of being challenged and having to learn the fights via wiping and adapting. There are a lot of people like that in the game and, if anything, I should thank you for not queuing while the better players try to work out the strats that you'll only read about until this stuff is rofl-stomping easy.

The best pugs I've been in are the ones who push through the challenges and wipes.

Funniest thing said in this thread. You win! =)

For the record, I started playing when there were melee warlocks. Firestone FTW! =P

So far I like ZA better than ZG becuase it just seems less messy. Also ZA is still fresher in my mind and hasn't changed as much though I did raid ZG in vanilla I never went there to farm He-man cats or raptors.

I dinged a mage to 85 on Friday. Today he is now ilevel 350. It was an awesome weekend for rapid gearing through pugs. Hell most normal pugs were steamrolling stuff that was a challenge before I left for my Rift break.

Once I got to ZA/ZG it felt kind of like normal Cata heroics did before the slower people learned wtf they were doing lol.

I imagine once people learn the mechanics heavy stuff they will be more puggable but I already think they are not to bad and are pretty fun.

lol, I remember firestones! I couldn't remember if you've played since Vanilla or just BC. =x

When I was just a little calf, I asked my mother what class to be. "Will there be leather, will there be plate?" Here's what she said to me.

"Que tombera, tombera. Whatever will drop will drop. Rare bosses don't always pop, que tombera, tombera."

Pigtails and Therion are guildies, you were talking shit ergo I believe it was directed at you.

Also the new troll 5 mans are fairly easy when everyone knows what to do. Maybe I've just been lucky but tanking them in the last day or 2 I've only had 1-2 groups that were abysmal, most were on point or close enough with a prod in the right direction.

I have not been as lucky when taking DPS through them.

edit: filter fail

*flexes* Rawr! Yes, I be internet tough guy! Seriously, I know it's not disturbingly obvious from my username that I'm female, in the sense that my username isn't "Imagurl," but I don't even know any gay guys that would use the word pigtails in a username.

Obviously, that was an idle threat, and yes dimwit it was directed at you. I would have thought that was fairly obvious. I'm not really going to cut you, that would require me knowing where you live. And while I like Therion and consider him a good friend, I don't like him well enough to try and figure out where you live so I can actually hunt you down and cut you for insulting him. Plus I'm a broke college student, so even if I did want to go to all that trouble, I wouldn't be able to actually carry it out unless you lived in the same town as me.

Christ, you're dumb. Please just leave and don't come back. Or come back, but at least do it under a name less outright retarded than "CrunkJuice".

Honey, if you like me well enough to track down some lame *** loser for insulting me, and physically cut them, I'd be impressed with my feminine wiles. No need to be broken hearted. <3

For the record, I think the tires with that name killed more people than warlocks wielding the rocks and meleeing did.

It's been long enough that I can make that joke, right?

I like the new troll instances, ZA seems a bit easier than ZG (possibly partly due to not having as many random things to kill). Healed a ZA pug with the only real trouble being the eagle boss (had nice forms for last boss though), whilst the ZG pugs I've been in have been quite painful. One had 17 people go through the group (and that's just the ones that showed up on recount), I'm quite amazed that we managed to finish that one.

I'm guessing as people learn tactics it will get easier and the drops are definitely worth the trouble.

Quote:
The dps started complaining that it was the healer's fault. I dunno. Maybe the 8k dps that two of them were doing wasn't enough? I know I spammed heals on everyone the whole fight until I was killed by giant wolves each time. I told them maybe they were right, GL, and left the party

There are no wolves in the new troll instances, so I'm thinking it was either the panther boss in ZG (dps should kill the panthers a few at a time and ignore the boss until they are dead, there are 16 panthers in total, the boss also does a tsunami which needs to be avoided) or the Lynx boss in ZA (he spawns two cats, if you get one on you you should stand in the green from the healing totem, dps ignores the cats and focuses on the boss).

Sounds like the panthers then. There were more than two. Apparently the dps didn't know to kill them.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
