Good morning,

How did you do on your goals?

I didn't do a thing. Barely logged in to do the daily transmute and JC quest. RL took over and I had no time for WoW.

Welcome back MentalFrog. You picked an interesting week to come back if it's true that we're getting the patch this week. Unfortunately, if it's massive, I won't be able to play for a week, maybe more, depending on the size of the thing. Slow connections with 4GB download limits rock!

How about you? How was your weekend and how many easter eggs did you hunt down?

WOW: Usual goal of getting at least one more level on the rogue, maybe a level on the paladin.
Detour to ding a couple of levels on alts so my friend has some options leveling his priest.

Ah, good, I can try to ... Wait, BUNNIES! And that simply, the weekend was shot. :)

The three junior bank alts did get some real play time before distraction set in, with the warrior stopping at 15 to stay in step with my friend, 16 for the rogue (not even close to a serious project given that I'm still trying to hit 80 on another one)and it was the warlock who went back to Silvermoon to train at 18 and kicked off the bunny binge.

Right, this is the Year of the Rabbit and Bun-Bun is a Rabbit. So, with far to many alts, I've gone on a bunny binge. The warlock seems to get them with no problem, I've had to delete four. Most of my other toons seem unable to get anything to drop, let alone the bunny. The priest went 93 eggs before getting his one non-chocolate drop -- the Spring Circlet. Eggs? Erm, well ... I haven't quite hit 1,000. Toons with bunnies? Only eight so far.

RL: Bun-Bun is covering the apartment hunt since she used to be in real estate. My nod to Easter was that I got a Snickers bar while stocking up on spiced fish for her. Dinner was grilled lamb and since it was a place I haven't been before I got the usual dose of silliness, including the "let's see if the foreigner will eat X" routine. To their disappointment, I can and will. Grilled sheep pizzle doesn't even begin to faze me.

My WoW goals this weekend are to continue leveling Archeology to 300 (currently 225)so I can continue my Loremaster zone clearing in Outlands and do the Archeology at the same time. If (when) I get sick of the travel/grind I will switch to my Mage and try get him to 40. No RL goals this weekend as I have to work.

I managed to get Archeology up to 275. Didn't log onto the mage at all, just traveled around digging up common artifacts. Hope you all got your goals achieved.

Photographing for the open day at school tomorrow.
Lotsa homework for school the rest of the weekend.
Log in to WoW to mess around a bit and rework my UI for my new monitor.
Saturday was a lot of fun, I got to tell a lot of people a lot of things about photography and why I love my school and I got a nice amount in gift cards for it to boot, which I then partially spent on a really awesome photo book that I happened to find second hand. Smiley: grin
Still doing my homework and I haven't even looked at WoW.

Well, I hit 73 from 68 with my Priest yesterday. I can probably play a good amount tonight too, which would be nice to spend leveling her some more. Then of course there's raiding on Saturday. Going to go visit my boyfriend E on Sunday and spend the night there. Don't have class on Monday until 2pm.

I was very productive with my priest. Got her up to 81. :D Also spent about 3k leveling her engineering so I could equip one of the dragon trinket things.

Raiding on Saturday was... interesting. I got the off hand from Council in BoT. Not best in slot, but definitely an upgrade from the JP off hand. Plus it looks awesome. Then we spent 2 hours wiping on Cho'gall. Got in 12 attempts, and never made it to phase 2. As our raid leader said... Cho'gall is definitely not KT. That ****** ogre is hard. Probably didn't help that we only had three ranged for the adds. Hopefully next week will go better since we should have all four of the ranged and our DK (Therion :D) for slows.

Didn't end up visiting E. Didn't feel good today and wasn't up to driving an hour and a half. Sucks too, because I have a midterm on Wednesday, so if he comes down Tuesday I probably won't be able to hang out with him anyways.

The paladin is about 5 bubbles from 85, so I'm going to have some lofty goals for her this weekend.

1)I obviously want to hit level 85

2)I am also going to run my random daily on the paladin everyday and will probably run a few more dungeons after the random daily

3)I need to put together about 1000g to pay for the orbs for the 2 epic tanking items I'm having crafted. I have the truegold and hardened elementium I need, just need to find a blacksmith with 3 reasonably priced orbs

4)The only questing I have done on the paladin is to finish Hyjal and do enough of Vasjh'ir to get to friendly with Earthen Ring to buy their tabard. I would like to do enough quests in Deepholm to get the Therazane tabard, enough quests in Uldum to get the Ramkahen tabard, and enough quests in Twilight Highlands to get the Dragonmaw Tabard

5)If possible I would like to get my iLevel high enough to queue for heroics. I'm not actually going to queue for them until I feel ready, but I'm thinking with the 2 333 pieces I already have and the 2 359 epics I'm gonna have crafted, 329 won't be that far off.

1)The paladin dinged 85 with no problems Friday night.

2)I didn't get to do the random daily yesterday because we had family over for Easter and I was too tired by the time everybody left.

3)I got the Elementium Earthguard and Hardened Elementium Girdle crafted. Got a belt buckle for the Girdle and 2 gems to put in it. Also bought the honored pants from Earth Ring. I just need to get a leg armor for the pants and figure otuwhich enchand to use on the shield.

4)I am about halfway through Deepholm, but I'm not friendly with Therazane yet. I didn't even get started on Uldum or Twilight Highlands. I find it really hard to find time to quest with instant queues. On my rogue it was easier because I would queue for a dungeon and have half an hour or so to quest while waiting for it to pop.

5)I'm up to 324 iLevel even with the 2 359 pieces and the 333 legs I picked up. I won a roll for Tia's Grace in regular Lost City and then felt so bad about it I gave it to the rogue I beat out for it. I was hoping that would give me good loot karma for the rest of the weekend, but in 3 otehr runs nothing I needed dropped.

I tamed a few new pets on my hunter, and took my dk ah toon over to Hyjal. He went to 82 and is picking up some quest gear. We did a guild normal with a new recruit dk. Everybody was goofing off and sort of tanking... him, me on my dk, the hunter pet, and our nightelf druid healer decided she would heal naked. We were cracking up in vent, and everybody had a good time.

WoW: I'll return to doing battleground stuff for a bit hopefully, another level or two on the alt would be nice. Maybe I'll start a troll shaman or a undead Warlock for fun if I have time.

RL: I've got to work at least 1 day as I'm trying to save up vacation days for when the baby is born. It's also Easter weekend, so the wife is probably planning things for me to do in my time off.

Work got in the way of the battleground stuff. I did manage to grab a couple levels on the mage and warrior. Started an undead warlock for fun too.

Apparently someone in the guild decided that our Wed/Thurs raid group wasn't geared enough yet so the guild leader canceled it until we have more raid-ready people to handle a third raid. I don't really agree and think that some people just want to breeze through and be caught up immediately with the other groups rather than work through learning the fights while getting gear from the easier bosses. *shrugs* Anyways, that means I'll be raiding Fri and Sat and I have already been told there is likely to be space for me since they are expecting to be missing a few because of the holiday weekend for Easter.

Well, Friday night we downed two bosses in BoT and four in BWD which is pretty much all the bosses I have killed with that group in two nights of raiding. That left Saturday night for progression content and we proceeded to kill the Conclave of the Winds, Atramedes and the Ascendent Council leaving us with only the final bosses of each raid to be downed. We took a few pulls on Cho'gall as well but I can see we need a lot of learning there.

My friend put Malygos up for our Saturday raid. I don't really like that fight but I'm hoping that not many show up and I can talk him into doing it with less than 9 for the achievement instead of doing it as a 25 man.

We only got 11 people so we downed him but didn't get the speed kill. We didn't try for the 10 man stuff. :/

I am hoping to finish off my Netherwing grind on my other Shaman though I am more likely to not get it done until sometime next week. I will try to do my TB dailies on my other two 85s and maybe work on some alt leveling. My Hunter is really close to 85 and it wouldn't take much for him to hit it.

Not there yet on the Netherwing grind and didn't do it at all on Sunday. I hit 85 on the Hunter from just doing the Therazane dailies and even took him to TB to do the peninsula dailies and he did fine even in his poor (only quested up through Deepholm so far) gear. I also leveled up all of my playing alts' cooking past 400 on Horde and past 300 on Alliance and got a lot of alts a lot higher in First Aid as well.

I also need to work more on taking over my boyfriend's stuff. He already gave me his bank guilds but it's taking a while to find space for all the stuff on his alts too. I still would rather have him playing than have his stuff but he's pretty determined that he won't come back to the game. His complaints aren't even the usual stuff but rather that he hates what they've done with questing. He doesn't like the linear format and the cut scenes that don't seem to work well with his multi-boxing. While I agree with some of his points, I don't think that the game is 'ruined' as he claims and while I don't like all of the changes, I can live with them and adapt.

I'm still working on it. My work in leveling cooking skills was mainly to whittle down the massive amount of cooking mats from his stockpile. I figure if I get all of the skill leveling done as much as possible then it would be easier for me to know how much of the stuff I can send to the AH.

I didn't do much egg stuff yet since I did a ton on most of my alts last year and there isn't much point in doing it again but I did take my new Goblin Warlock out last night to get a chunk of the achievements out of the way. :)

Forgot to post before the long weekend.

RL:
Spouse out Thursday evening so I was back into my honey & peanut-butter sandwiches again. Friday was yard work to plant a few trees that we've had in planters for years, since they seem to have reached a limit to their growth in them. And I don't want to deal with larger planters that weigh 200 pounds before you put the dirt and tree in. The evening was dinner with a couple who have finally moved in together after keeping separate houses for several years. Saturday was Easter dinner with my spouses family, and Sunday was dinner with mine.

WoW:
I had hoped to find more play time this weekend, but just a few hours total now and then. I did get my tauren feral druid from just short of 26 to 29 during the week and then up to 31 on the weekend, although all was unrested XP. She only has herbalism and skinning, but entirely by herself (no help from other toons) and proceeds from the AH, she had managed to collect over 400 gold by level 28. Dispersed some of that to my other Horde toons. Considerably better results than my worgen feral druid has been able to manage at that same level. I'll have to compare Auctioneer history, but I'm guessing that I've been getting much better prices on herbs and leather on the Horde side than Alliance. Just haven't really been noticing what has been sold when collecting my AH gold from mailbox.

Nice weekend spent mostly with family and friends.

'RL - Birthday parties to go to tomorrow and sunday afternoon, already had 1 good day out of our 4 for easter today. Tidying flat also a bit each day.

WoW - Dailies/heroics first. Any extra time on Tol Barad if it times in when im around and clear up Northrend quests. Feel a bit at a loss sometimes in the game now, I can't give up 3 or 4 hours anymore for raid so I rarely do anything with guildies and all my friend list disappeared while I was on a long break from the game.'

RL - Great weekend, weather was nice every day. Did tidying and built a cupboard that's been sitting in the box for weeks.

WoW - Didn't feel like I got much done but it was a lot of small bitty things that will hopefully lead into something bigger. Did the dailies, missed one day of heroics as I had internet problems since Sunday, lagged through the one I did yesterday. Won 2 or 3 Tol Barads, one a couple of seconds after I joined which was nice. Cleared most of the Northrend areas, only missed a couple of quests originally but I've discovered a whole new faction added since I stopped playing during Wrath (Ashen Verdict) grrr. Extra things I did were finish levelling blacksmithing, did some work on Limnologist and Oceanographer so I'm one point off finishing fishing levelling then I can take it off my daily route. Joined a PuG for the Wintergrasp raid for the achievement of killing 3 of them within a minute of each other, also got the achievements for the last two bosses to be added on the side as well. Got lucky with easter eggs, did less than 50 before I got the dress which was the only thing I had left to get since 2 years ago.

Another 4 day weekend coming up as well :)
