Fastest flying speed... orly?Follow
Just spent 4k gold on highest possible flying speed aaaand I swear it feels exactly the same as epic flying. Not any faster at all. Was this just a really expensive achievement? I haven't heard of any faster flying mounts... What gives?
If I recall, it goes from 280% to 320%? so that's not a terribly large difference in flight speed. Maybe it's just not as noticeable as going from basic flight to the first upgrade?

you should see it on your character sheet. Direct below your ilvl there is 'speed'. It shows running, flying and swimming speed. It's ofc modified by the mount you are riding and the buffs/skills you have that improve riding/running speed.

It's a very small change and difficult to detect unless you grab a guy without it and race them. Particularly when flying up high, everything feels slower up there.
Maybe your speed odometer is broken. Have you tried rotating your tires?
It's an 11% speed increase only, hardly noticeable. So yes, it was an expensive achievement.
I've got it on my main. It isn't really very noticeable. If you don't mind spending the cash, it's just a one time expense that stays with you. I've spent 20 times that much on gear that won't stick with me as long, so it's worth it if you won't really miss the expenditure.

Then factor in the guild perks. My stat sheet shows flying at 451%. Zoom zoom indeed.

Crusader Aura is better. 330% (459% by the cahracter sheet IIRC?) ftw.

"Mount Up" guild perk is another 10% that (I think) stacks with Crusader Aura/On a Pale Horse, so max top speed should be 492 X 1.1 = 541%. I could be mistaken, I quit playing before they put movement speed on the character sheet.
It could also be (100+310)*(1.2+0.1)= 533%
I don't know what the guild perk is additive and/or multiplicative with but the above seems to be the most logical.

Haha love it. I think I've seen pratically all of his movies. There MAY be one or two I still need to see, though I can't remember off the top of my head which one.

I hated it when they nerfed Aura Mastery so that it no longer worked with Crusader...
