Good morning,

How did you do on your goals?

Quote:
- Level up the Warlock to 85

Done
Quote:
- Figure out why I'm being out DPSed by the mage, rogue, warrior tank in our static group and fix it

My rotation was crap, still is sometimes but I'm getting a little better.
Quote:
- Compile a list of all items I can get without moving a muscle so that I can start on heroics soon. Crafting, JP, other people's crafting, certain quests, all that.

Done, got myself the epic belt and pants from tailoring, the neck and offhand from justice points, won a nice blue dagger from a rare raidboss in Twilight Highlands (Zulak'doom or something like that), got almost all of the quests in twilight highlands done for some quest rewards and reputations, and bought the chest for 2200 honor points.
Quote:
- Get my Worgen to Outland already. It will seem fresh to me, since this is the first alliance character I've gotten to Outland.

No. I didn't even feel like logging in to her, not bored, but the new 85 warlock is too interesting.
Quote:
Other than wow stuff, I already finished Dragon age 2 on normal as a sarcastic melee Rogue, now I'm restarting it as an angry Mage in hard mode. The skipping of conversations is a time saver.

Started it, got to the point just after recruiting Aveline and then it bugged on me, Aveline was somehow always selected, which means that whenever I try to click on anything (barrel, vendor, zone border) I instead chat with her. Dropped the game after that.

How about you, how was your weekend?

I'm hoping to get my warrior to northrend so there's room for my lock, druid and hunter to get to outlands...

Didn't end up doing anything on the warrior or the character that is just a place holder...other than cleaning up the guild bank a bit ditching gear that is too low level for any of my characters

WoW - IF others are on where my main is go do some old-school dungeons for guild achievements the only one they've knocked out so far was... SFK? the one involved in the recent world event. But nothing else guild dungeon wise from anything before Cataclysm... so some easy achievement points for the guild sitting waiting to be ... achieved. got into ONE dungeon today when one other person came on, no kind of guild achievement... and no real surprise as I was on my laptop wow crashed after a wipe and never let me back on, think the net went down at that point here. Prior to the run I did ding DK and paladin to 84, now to just get one of them to 85 and be available for runs.

RL - dinner and a movie tonight, planning on a feast of ribs and movie will probably be one that was out in December, advantage of cheap theater is everyone wants the latest and greatest movies so I can go see an older movie for cheap and beat the crowds.

Dinner was good, but just came home for a movie and then did some planning over the weekend, didn't get much done in WoW, just couldn't be bothered getting tired of playing a MMO solo, I'll play on the Wii when I wanna solo.

Didn't get a chance to post goals but here's what I done anyway.

Worgen mage from 18 --> 20
Hunter 80 --> 81
Replaced my last 333 item on the Paladin. Cash, VP and raids needed for upgrades now.

Last week my goal was to get some raids going, we did and got our Guild achievement of Baradin Hold and our first Magmaw kill. This week we killed Magmaw again and made some progress with Omnitron. Hopefully we can get another before the reset.
Quite pleased we're actually getting somewhere again now.

RL: Bun-Bun is back after having been away for a couple of weeks. Yay! I'm sure I'll spend some time in game, but it is not my first priority. :)

Things didn't quite work out the way I'd planned and that was actually a good thing. The national holiday schedule got moved around a couple of years ago and I keep forgetting the changes to the Spring semester. Yay for four day weekends!

WOW: Try to get some play time on the rogue (70) and paladin (74). May try to get the warlock a couple of levels closer to 35.

I've been taking it easy. After all, I have two days of weekend left. I've been able to enjoy time with Bun-Bun and have still managed a level (almost two) on the rogue. I might have leveled faster, but I've also spent a lot of time working on mining (420)and JC (382) as well as a dash of rep grinding.

"RL - Gym this evening. My friends turn to come round for flat warming party tomorrow night. Visit mum on Sunday for mothers day. Girlfriend wants to walk round a lake and feed ducks tomorrow afternoon.

WoW - Tonight will probably be my best session at getting stuff done. Have kept up the fishing and cooking dailies, slowly leveling up. Think I have one more time to do the kill Glop daily for the achievement, the Pebble one doesn't seem to be in the rotation much on my server so that is taking a while. I try and get in Tol Barad when I can, despite the threads complaining about how unfair it is to attackers it seems even to me, I've successfully defended and attacked in the last week, and lost as both sides as well. I also do the dailies when I can, although some take a while with congestion, noticed a couple of achievements for doing dailies here so I'll keep ploughing through them. Any spare time will either be finishing off my tank setup (gems, actionbars, practice on dummy etc) or getting through the twilight highland quests, as I think I can upgrade some gear still through these. Have done a bit of profession leveling on my alt (80 mage, wont be playing it properly), JC so I dont have to rely on the AH and tailoring for bags. Maybe when I get to max level I can try and use it for some money making but thats a long way off. "

RL - Done, was a good weekend, weather could have been better but its England.

WoW - Probably better than expected, did cooking/fishing. Got the Glop achievement so im only going back there for the Pebble one now. Did a few Tol Barad, only won once. Did the dailies and the other set when we held it, have one to kill a shark that needs more people to help. Spent some time practising off spec, think its nearly ready rotation etc wise, would like some better gear so i can go straight to heroics i dont really want to go through normals for gear that wont be around long once i do heroic. Did a lot of twilight highland quests, enough for the achievement but i still have a few to do. Disappointing reward for what seems like the major climax for the area (Skullcrusher?) the item it gave I had better from Hyjal rep which I got to simply doing the quests in that area so it was vendored straight away. Didn't go on mage for professions. Could have done a trash run in a raid (BWD maybe?) but would have had to leave part way through so saved the guild time replacing me and missed out, bit disappointing but i dont want to be on it for hours and hours like I used to be.

Rogue is 83.5 right now. I'd love for him to be 85 by the end of the weekend. I would also love to farm enough leather and volatiles for my guildmate to craft me the full Bloodied Leather set since I am going to be doing some arena on this char.

Me and a couple of guildmates also started a side project. Two paladins (one prot and one ret) and a disc priest (me) levelling from 15-80 solely by doing instances. We're only gonna do a couple a week unless it gets addicting, but it should be fun. We did RFC last night with all of us at level 15 and I think I had to cast any heal other than Renew a total of 5 times.

The rogue dinged 85 and is kitted out in full Bloodied Leather crafted gear. I started the BG grind last night and desperately need to upgrade my trinkets. Hopefully by next weekend I'll have 2 new ones and maybe a clock or ring or something.

The side project got no love this weekend, but that's ok. Side projects aren't supposed to get love every weekend.

Friday is our usual milk and chocolate chip cookies night and listen to some shows on the wireless. Not sure what are plans are for the weekend, other than the usual milking of the cows at 4am and some haying, but I expect that we'll be doing some other yard work no matter what the weather is like. Maybe we'll have time to walk across the fields to the General Store for a soda & penny candy, and peruse that Action Comics #4 with the Mountie on the cover.
Wine & snacks on Friday and catch up on shows. Saturday was yard work, raking up leaves and raking out moss from the back yard, very tiring work. Drove up to Starbucks for coffees and to read for a bit. Sunday was housework and then walked up to Starbucks for coffees and reading, then friends over for dinner.

WoW:
I've been having some strange dreams at nighttime, where some poor woman in maybe her early 30's was turned into a wolf and traveled through strangling thorns and fought all manner of strange creatures. After what seemed like 2 or 3 years of this continuing battle had gone by, (but which occurred in just a few hours of my agitated sleep), she found a small inn where she curled up and rested. I fear that I may be plunged into further nightmares of this kind over the coming days.
Not much time available for WoW, but finally got back to my worgen druid. Leveled her from 32 to 36 in Northern Stranglethorn and a few quests right around Theramore Isle and Aerie Peak, before running out of rested XP.

Didn't post any goals, but here's what I accomplished: Raided Saturday night and finally got Incineratus! I actually made out like a bandit. Got my dagger, bracers, my BiS necklace, and the Heart of Ignacious trinket (although I doubt if I'll use it, but nobody else wanted it). Then after raid I did my third heroic Steamvault run, and then half of heroic Underbog and got exalted with CE. Hello, Willow, "Guardian of Cenarius." ^_^ I'm so happy I have a cool title now.

After I logged out on Saturday though, had a long chat with my boyfriend. He's understandably concerned with the amount of time I've been playing WoW the last month or so. We've been having some pretty scary financial trouble, and instead of trying to deal with it I've been playing WoW way more than I should to try and escape. Right now we really can't afford the $15, so I agreed to cancel my account until we're able to get back on our feet. We also came to an agreement that when that happens, I'll start off by enabling parental controls so I can only play on Saturdays, which is my raid night. We'll do that for a few weeks and see how I do. Maybe then gradually increase the controls so I can play a couple hours a day outside of Saturday. I don't want to continue this being an issue for me, especially when I'm so close to finishing up school.

Friday night - I will probably be raiding as long as our internet connection will let me. It's having some issues and the cable company is sending someone out tomorrow to check it out since my boyfriend's efforts with the phone tech support didn't solve things. I will try to get into the raid on Saturday night too though that isn't a sure thing. Next week I am supposed to start raiding with the guild's third group which means sort of starting back at the beginning but I'd be a regular part of the group and not have to sit out as much.

The issues still exist but it's not affecting my ability to play WoW. The router just won't work for some reason though so I'm the only one with a good connection so I guess it's okay right now that my boyfriend quit playing WoW...
Anyways, I raided but our performance wasn't stellar on Friday night though we started off well. On Saturday we got the other two 'usual' bosses down and then wiped a few times on Chimaeron before downing him with the achievement for having 2 or less people die on the fight which seems crazy going from several wipes to a run more perfect than we'd ever done on him. He nicely dropped my bracers too which I was quite happy about. This coming week I am supposed to be a permanant part of the new Wed/Thurs group so we'll see how that goes.

Saturday afternoon - I will most likely be back in Ulduar working on the 25 man achievements. This is assuming that the internet is back to transferring data speedily in both directions again.

I got my Ulduar 25 drake on Saturday. :D

Other goals include checking my Warrior's Oracle egg for a mount like my Hunter got this week, doing TB dailies on the Warrior and the other Shaman, doing transmutes and JC daily, and finding other things to do on some of the alts. My main really doesn't need any dailies anymore which is nice though I suppose he could still use some random heroics if I can find the time. I am still running my main through H UP most every day for a chance at the blue proto though.

I got my new Oracle egg. I did TB dailies and got a second 2-hander for my Warrior's fury spec. I still haven't gotten the blue Proto. I hit 82 on my Rogue. :)

I'd like either 500 in engineering or level 84 on my warlock. If I can get engineering to 500 I'll dive into a BG or two.

I hit both, then I got sick and took an extra day off. Now I have a level 85 warlock with 525 engineering. Smiley: grin

Of course now I get to go from kicking butt in battlegrounds to being on the receiving end for a while. Oh well, all in good time, all in good time...
