#1 Feb 05 2011 at 4:23 PM Rating: Decent
So I have this small problem. I have a few addons that will remove the blizz ui frames but, it seems that no maatter whitch one I use the boss health frame turns into this red box under my mini map. Really not a major problem but it just really bugs. So I was wondering if anyone out there might know a way to solve this problem. Thanks

Do you have any Arena addons?

No just UI and raid add ons really:
x-perl
BDM
atlas
atlas loot
raven
star tip
bartender
skinner
chinchilla
moveanything
omen
titan
parrot
icehud
recount
chatter

Tried a few diffrent add on's 2 get rid of though's frames with no luck. Like:
frame buster
remove frames
Stuff like that. Moveanything can remove it also but I still get the same thing a red box where the boss health frame used to be. It just really bug's me. So you think as arena add on might do the trick?

By 'arena addon' that includes UI addons based toward the Arena.
What that box is, traditionally, is the Arena Frames section. Blizzard later integrated it into the raiding UI as 'boss frames.'
If you have an addon that messes with the UI of the Arena, that could do it.
Of course, it could be a hard coded part of the UI for some reason, in which case you'll have trouble getting rid of it. I've never known a person to want to get rid of it, so I can't be of much more help, sorry.

Thanks for the input. I'm Running a disc/holy priest raid healer so I'm never in a arena but I'll look up some and give them a try. The reason I want to get rid of the stock default blizz boss health frame is because I already have add-on that display the boss health. Both DBM and x-perl have boss health frames and I have them positioned and sized where I want them so the default blizz frame just get's in the way.

Move Anything is brilliant for removing anything the Blizzard UI has put on the screen.

yeah moveanything is on of my fav's i can't even begen to think what my screen would look like without it, but still get that damm red box under my mini map where the boss health frame used to be anymore i just turned it back on so atleast I get something there insted of a box that does nothing but that puts like 3 boss health frames on my screen really only need 1 or 2 and the stock on i can't change the features and transparency/aspect so kind of a bummer but hopefully they will fix it with a patch.
