Good morning,

How did you do on your goals?

Quote:
I would like to start leveling my Rogue, I'm tired of putting it off. So, about level 82 would be nice.

Level 82 and a half, raised mining as well to 481 at the same time, and visited most of the dungeon entrances for future instance running.
Quote:
Also, on the Death Knight, dailies, cooking, etc...

Done as far as no daily dungeons. I did do the daily quests I'm interested in, daily inscription and cooking/fishing.

Oh, and I officially hate waking up to strep throat. I'm going to call in sick today, so that's a plus, but the constant reminder that you're not really meant to swallow all the time is annoying as hell, not to mention painful.

How about you, how did your weekend go?

WOW: Having temporarily decided that BGs are tolerable, I'm going to hit them hard and try to fill in some of the gaps in my gear. The daily rep grind was starting to make me wish I had hair to pull.

Took a break from dailies, continued to be amused by the BGs, and managed to fill in some of the gaps in my gear with the low tier PVP epics. The weekend was a success for WOW!

RL: Stayed in, started to get over the last cold and tried a different disk defragmenter. Rate up for Defraggler, it was able to take care of some of the fragmentation that my older programs hadn't been able to.

Edit: Daniel -- Get well!

Get warlock to 85? Yep.
Get paladin to 85? Nope, but I didn't really think I would.
Run heroics? Nope. Still need 2 more average ilvl before it'll let my warlock queue up.

Hang out with friends? Nope. Spent most of the weekend vegging out and playing WoW because I had the stomach flu or something equally awful.

Archaeology and a few heroics. And dailies.

-Mage: Did dailies, got a heroic done(and a couple daily randoms), and spent a good amount of time on archaeology. Enough time to craft a Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds for my DK, but alas, no staff for the mage.

-DK: Due to now having a Zin'rokh waiting for her, I've started working on leveling my DK, primarily through dungeons. As I've only unlocked one dungeon for her(BRC), I ran it several times as a random, for bonus XP. Got her to level 81.5 or so.

Other than that, I got little done in WoW due to a combination of a last minute work meeting, my dad's birthday and my roommate picking up Fallout: New Vegas.

Sounds painful, Daniel :s good luck with that.

Did not post in the weekend goals thread this friday, but did set myself some goals:

-WoW-
* Decided on what chars to play: Orc hunter, Orc shaman (now main) and Belf Pala.
* Got my shaman's gear to 329 and am now working on several factions to boost it with rep rewards. Only dailies though, haven't done a single cata instance yet.
* Worked my palas jewelcrafting to a respectable level. She's lvl 83 still though, but that's not an issue.
* Hunter is now lvl 82
* Did not get any archeology done, Twilight Highlands and crafting took all the time I had this weekend.

-RL-
* Friend's bday party on Saturday evening - didn't stay long, gf wasn't well.
* Did household chores on Sunday, wasn't feeling too well in the evening - not feeling good now, but good enough to work. Mustn't get any worse though. *crosses fingers*

Want to conjure up the energy to level my Death Knight to 70+.

I'm also thinking of getting some Valium so I can heal a heroic or two.

Negative on both.

Death Knight is level 66, but I leveled up my Warrior to 82. Still not sure which one I want to level to cap first. Gah!

Also, no Valium, no heroic. Took my Shaman and Druid into a regular to practice healing, but Halls of Origination and Grim Batol regular were hell. No CC, rushy tank and impatient DPS, plus low gear levels, brought back memories of healing Paletress in Trial of the Champion.

Shudder. I don't get the new healing style. If everything is going right, healing is downright boring, and if things go wrong, healing becomes frustratingly inefficient, like trying to put out a fire with a napkin.

Got 2x2 piece bloodthirsty set. Didn't get to farm half as much as I had hoped for AV weekend.

Also thinking of not doing much arena until the patch anyway since it is so broken right now. Keep losing to classes that will be nerfed soon mostly.

WoW: Trying to get the Baradin Fox Kit. So far I have about 700 Serrated Fangs and 150 Indurate Fangs but no pet. Also do the Tol barad dailies and some Heroics

Still no pet after killing enough Foxes to count as a small war crime. Also been visiting Jadefang, but he has been dead every time. We had Tol Barad a grand total of once this weekend (this morning) but I at least done the other dailies.

RL: Get drunk while watching the football, I seem to do this alot... Won some free tickets to see The Cut Up Boys at my union tonight, so will be there tonight, then come back to my flat for some more drinkage with some friends who are back in the city today. Sunday I will sit and hug my headache. Oh yeah, I will also reach 1k posts this weekend.

Got drunk, seen the football.
The Cup Up Boys were amazing, and I got exceedingly drunk while watching them. 3 Liters of Cider and 9 Jaegerbombs leaves an epic hangover. I also was a victim of the must brutal Fraping I have ever seen. I tip my hat to the friend who done it.

And oh yeah, DING 1000 POSTS MOTHERFUDGERS

Stayed home.

Well lets see how well I did.

After an e-mail from Blizzard inviting us back for a 10 day Cata trial this weekend marks the first one back as paying customers.

My goals for the weekend involve grinding up the level 46 Worgan humter to around 58 or so and them mabey taking one of the level 80's for a spin.

I also need to open a ticket. When I first logged on both of my accounts were hacked. ( My wifes accounts were fine.) On account B the GM's gave my toons fulls sets of ( I dont know which tier ) raid armor and 1K gold for socket items. On account A they restored my account to the way it was. Now the raid gear is better than what I had, I am hoping that the can just restore it to what I had.

The Worgan hunter hit 58 with a nice plie of gold from the AH. I also screwed arouynd with a Worgan DK. hit 58 and started training up tradeskills ( PITA ).

Took my 80 Lok out and hit 81 in the new areas. I like the expantion so far.

I recieved a responce to my ticket. On my first account they were able to find the old information for a restore. Not so on the 2nd account hence the raid geat I was gifted. I notice when I took the Lok out that as a Deamonlogy Lok I do not have the Fel guard spell. Opened a ticket on that. Recieve a responce this morning out lineing a lot of steps to try and fix. Planning on working on this tonight.

They gave you gold even though they couldnt retrieve the data? I never got any Gold even after multiple tickets. I was left with 4 level 80s and no gold or trade items between them. Couldnt even buy water to drink.

Still the weekend for some of us!

I didn't have any goals, and I met them wonderfully Smiley: tongue

I actually only logged on for about an hour or two yesterday, did some dailies, some archeology, and logged off. I'm just not interested right now, sorry WoW! Looking forward to Rift, and trying to beat Oblivion until it comes out. Although I may start leveling up a lowbie for a new series of ZAM articles - stay tuned!

-Almost done with gear outside of raiding. The last two pieces are a rep ring and my relic. Debating if I am going to farm the hell out of BRC or just pay the 2.5kg to have it made.

Less than 250 rep to go until my lowest iLevel is 346. Oh and to answer the relic question, I ended up spending some gold and buying the Silver Inlaid Leaf (at least that's what I think it is :S).

-Start looking for a different guild. The current one that I am in probably will not start raiding until 4.1 is out and that will be for 4.0 content. If I wanted that crap I would have stayed on my old server. -_-

Didn't bother. I imagine I will once I start pugging BH tomorrow. Guess we will see as time goes on.

I didn't set any goals. However, this weekend I finished Loremaster of Kalimdor, completing the old world. I also got archeology over 300. I then went on to finish the quests in Hellfire and almost completed Zangermarsh.

Probably not going to log in for much than it takes to do a random heroic and my dailies tonight. Tomorrow though, is raiding night! Magmaw is so going down! Hopefully we can get the robots down too. I should do some research and find out what raid bosses drop leather spellcaster wrists, because those are going to be the biggest pita to replace. Seriously, Blizz dropped the ball on that one. In all the heroics currently, the only bracers that drop are off of random trash in Lost City. I'm in all 346 gear now except the damn bracers. I'm wearing the blue pvp ones, otherwise I'd still be wearing a green from leveling. There's no JP or VP leather spell caster bracers either, so I hope the ones from raiding aren't too hard to get. Still need to get Dragonmaw to exalted, almost a third of the way there from revered. I have a sexy epic neck piece and leather belt waiting for me once I accomplish that.

We raided, and still didn't get Magmaw down. Mostly due to us ranged dps having issues getting the adds down. Tried using my mushroom slow, and hurricane and typhoon, no luck. It just occurred to me that I could also use starfall for that phase, so I'll try that as well next time. We also spent a good amount of time on the robots and got really close to getting him down on the last attempt. It was either 11 or 13%. Next time we'll definitely get them!

Still not exalted with Dragonmaw, but I'm getting there. Gained about 9k in rep this weekend, sitting at about 16k into Revered now.

Wasn't planning on accomplishing this, but I also leveled my goblin priest up to 22! Had a lot of fun healing in some regulars and out dpsing the dps on boss fights, lol. I did have a lot of issues in SFK though, not sure why exactly as I didn't have any issues keeping up the tank in Deadmines, RFK or WC. Also, I think it's insane that Ashbury has Asphyxiate in regular SFK. What the hell!? Bringing everyone's health down to 1 is bad enough in heroic, at level 18-20 it's downright insane when you have no group heals. Didn't wipe on him though, so that was good. Wiped on the captain dude, and two of the DPS died during the last boss fight, but we got him down in one shot at least.

WoW - Close to 83 on the Rogue. That's my main goal and any other play time is just bonus.

83.5 now. A few quests into Uldum and enjoying it so far.

Hopefully this week presents some more playing time.
