I can't log onto PTR because of being in the Cata beta?Follow

I am posting hoping that someone who was in the Cataclysm beta knows a way to actually try out the PTR...

The deal is... the Cataclysm beta account is flagged as WoW1, and the PTR is also flagged as WoW1, so when you try to log onto the PTR you are in reality being forced to try and log into the beta servers which are not online.

My splash/title screen says 4.0.6 on the PTR client.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The PTR o-boards are not helpful, and I think Blizzard is ignoring the issue, or at least ignoring the threads about the issue.

There isn't a pulldown menu on the screen for the PTR. I think you might have to actually log into it first before it appears, but since there are no realms to choose I can't do anything.

Hmm, I deleted it from my PC. (It wasn't under my Add/Remove Programs though, so I just deleted the folder.)

But... I never even tried to delete the beta from my Battle.net account... didn't think you could delete "games" from your account.

I will have a look.

Still a no go.

I have went into my registry and deleted everything that had "warcraft beta" attached to it.

I have no idea what else I can do because I think it might be on Blizzard's side.

I have an inactive account named "WoW1" too, but I would think Blizzard has had that worked around in the past.
