SINCE this is a topic on addons, I'm looking for a very specific addon.
I pretty much have keybinds memorised, and know what's where on my bars.
I hate that the bars are always there though. I am looking for an addon that causes an icon to ONLY appear while it's on cooldown.
Does such a thing exist?
Example
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]

I use ability 3
[ ][ ][5][ ][ ]

Now, what I want is for [5] to ONLY appear until it cools down.
I know very very little about coding and programming, my mind just doesn't work with that kind of information very well. I have the visions, just not the smarts. So, I don't know if it's even POSSIBLE to d something like that, but if someone knows one, that would be AWESOME.

Power Auras will do that. You can have it "Use own Texture" so that it appears as the icon for the spell. A timer can be enabled. You can sense when a spell is "Action Usable" and invert the condition to show when it is not usable, with the timer counting down.

edit: Something like Forte, or other mods found by searching for Cooldown on curse, would probably be easier to configure than power auras for this. However, if you get a spell working the way you like with power auras, you can copy it to a new spell, and modify it with the new spell name and position.

And I can disable everything but that? If I disable it, will it continue to be a memory hog? Of course, last time I looked at it was 3.3 ish, so if it isn't a hog anymore, or you can disable all the other useless frills, that would be cool.

To expand on this, I think most cooldown mods have a icon flash included with them anymore. It might not do EXACTLY what you want it to but hiding your bars and having a cooldown mod like Power Auras or Forte may get you close to what you want.
