Ran across this thread on the Oboards(yeah, I'm bored). It's a repost of a Gamefaqs post, but I'd rather link a clicky to the oboards than another board, since I'm all paranoid-like. Plus, I liked some of the commentary on the Oboards thread.

Get a baddie? Below generally gets someone to initiate a votekick so you don't have to, if they say yes keep posting it after every pull
PARTY MEMBER (Name) BELOW EXPECTED DPS PARAMETERS - PROCEED WITH INSTANCE REGARDLESS? Y/N TO CONTINUE

NOTICE - PARTY MEMBER (Name) HAS BROKEN CC # TIME(S) Continue to keep tally

FATAL ERROR - MANUAL RESTART REQUIRED

Do dailies until you get booted or until they get fed up waiting to see if you come back or not, they usually wait five minutes

As a bot runs have been WAY smoother, although I guess you might get some simpleton reporting you because they actually think you're a bot, but I doubt Blizzard would be stupid enough to punish anyone based on a log that contained idiocy like this

Some commentary:

Quote:
DPS swap in the middle of a run?

PARTY COMPOSITION ADJUSTMENT DETECTED. APPLYING RELEVANT SCRIPT CHANGES.

PROCESSING

COMPLETE.

PARTY MEMBER (Party Member) ASSIGNED MARK: (Mark)
(Repeat for every party member with a CC target.)

oh and if the healer is low mana after a pull:
HEALER MANA BELOW ACCEPTABLE PARAMETERS. PROCEED REGARDLESS? Y/N

and the like

this is a lot of #%%#ing fun. smart groups are in on the joke. I had one guy as I (the last party member alive) in Vp going "go bot go!"

Someone even made a video.

I didn't really put any thought into it. I just copy pasted the things into macros and I forgot to make a wait timer between each line so it all came up at once...

I'll make a better one sometime tomorrow and hope I get some funnier people than this group, they were actually pretty good with it.

Edit: He apparently made an even better video.

This one is more epic.

Either way, I figured this was good for a laugh.

I linked it in /k/ for Spoonless since he's been tanking while leveling, and TPO probably saw it there.

I believe the proper saying is "Ricchan doubts that."

Also, I watched that second video. I didn't like how he intentionally wiped the last boss. I mean, the whole "script" thing is funny and quirky, and tossing it in certainly makes the whole thing more interesting, but intentionally wiping isn't cool, IMO, unless it's something you do to a group of friends instead of random folks who just don't know you.

Depends on why he wiped it, I guess. If the group is being stupid, wiping it to prove a point happens.

Agreed. If you watch the video, it's obvious he did that particular move just for personal kicks. Up until then, it was a funny video. And TBH, had he started the boss that way, then finished his "reboot" quickly and then kicked ***, I probably still would have thought it was really funny. But as it was, the end was a real letdown.

OMG, if it weren't for my account having suspicions of botting already (excessive farming I used to do), I'd be SO tempted to try this.

That was freaking hilarious.

Thumbs up to the genius who thought of this one.

Edit: As far as intentionally wiping, that depends. The video didn't show us how good the players were. They did, however, "unauthorized" pulling at least 3 times in the video, and that says to me, that they either had impatient, or incompetent players.

Maybe the wiping was justified?

Absolutely hilarious, however, I would like to point out that both videos were normal dungeons, not heroic mode. Outside of that, brilliant.

I'm not so sure about that. If they were jackholes, then sure, I could easily understand him pulling the whole "program error" thing and running into a wall/leaving group right before the boss, but actually pulling the boss was another thing entirely. I guess I really just have an issue with intentionally wiping a group when in an instance.

That said, I rewatched the video(showed it to my roommate), and I did see the boss reset(perhaps on a leash?) and get re-pulled by the group. He would have aggroed himself when the boss repoped, but if everyone had stayed back, only he would have died. But nonetheless, still not really cool, IMO. The rest was hilarious, though.

I've wiped a lot of groups as the tank.

My patience, given the instant queue, is very limited, especially when people get personal, or refuse to listen. Learning by dying seems to be an effective pedagogic tool. If only we could use it in real life as well.

Oh, my goodness, that would be entirely too much fun. Already thinking about how I could adjust some of the text macros for a healer 'bot' and playing with it for a few guildies to ask how they like this new addon I found. :P

CHARACTER (TANK) OUT OF LINE OF SIGHT
ADJUSTING
ADJUSTING
PROCEED

Good times. Good times.

Hey guys, Rindell here.

I didn't wipe that group, one guy died to a charge and then they reset the boss. They aggro'd it again while staring at me wondering what was going on. Any deaths from them aggroing it after reset is their fault for not moving.

Indeed wiping a group is not cool, but for the effect of the video (and one unlucky group) a couple of characters were harmed in the making of this video.

Indeed, I saw it after rewatching(as I've already noted), and a single group failing due to the silliness isn't the end of the world. Definitely something I hope I never see someone mimicking, though, since it's a world of Monkey See Monkey Do, as it were(can't tell you how many groups for UBRS I've seen Leeroyed), though I wouldn't mind seeing some of the generally funny silliness.

Keep us up to date if you make that mod, though.

Youtube tells me which places linked my video.

Also, what you don't see in the video is what happens after I load into Orgrimmar and explain and talk to the group. I am not an ***, I have only done this twice, and on a boss once. The group thought it was funny and just queued and got another tank right away. But I wouldn't put this part on the video.
