Guild Leadership Question :: World of Warcraft

I wonder if you all could help me out:

I have a personal guild (complete with a 3 tab guild bank) with two of my toons in the Guild.

I'd like to delete the guild leader and leave just the one toon. If I did that would the remaining toon automatically become the guild leader?

I could always try and find someone to trust, or reactivate my old second account, but I'd rather not.

You can now promote offline members to GL. I just did this with one of my alts before the expansion went live and it worked. I know you can't delete the GL without assigning a new one.
