anyone elses recount add on not working today?
its worked fine since cata came out,but i have it enabled(i even reinstalled it)and everytime i type in /recount to bring it up nothing happens.just wondering if its just me or has anyone elses recount not worked today

ya,when i type in /recount show nothing happens

I believe the command is /recount toggle or /recount show. Make sure you didnt push it off the edge. You can re-center the windows and do a few other things from the command line. the following is from the Curse page for recount:
Q: I don't see Recount after installing, what to do?
A: /recount show, then /recount resetpos. If this doesn't help delete all (there are more than one)
Recount.lua files in your WTF directory.
Q: I don't see details when I click the recount bar, how to fix?
A: /recount resetpos
And the last line in the mini FAQ is just classic:
Q: I have asked a question before and got no answer. I demand an answer!
A: I cannot answer everything, I answer per time, capacity and ease to answer. I take everything I read
into consideration but don't expect that everything can get an answer.

This is intentional. It's Blizzard's Christmas gift to tanks and healers who are tired of having to pull aggro back from/heal LOLDPSers who care only about their epeen damage meters.

i dont really care about it being a "epeen" meter.i just know that i have it enabled and it doesnt show up,guess some people just feel like being douchebags today

As a tank, it's actually nice to know when the DPS is so far behind me in damage done and damage/second that it's mathematically impossible to kill the boss before the healer goes OOM, or the adds do whatever craziness they do that makes them kill priorities (last 2 bosses in Grim Batol come to mind). And for healers, it shows who's taking what avoidable damage, how much of it, and who's shirking their interrupt duties.
But hey, breaking Recount would be a good thing, amirite?

You young wippersnappers nowadays, thinking this was a douchebag response. Back when i was young we had really evil people like Theo and Demea on the board.
