Sending money to a friendFollow

#1 Dec 13 2010 at 11:25 PM Rating: Good
My friend and I are both lvl 80's she is in my friends list, she needs a bit of help getting her Master riding so if I send her 1000 gold will it look like we are gold farming or something, I m just scared that if I send her some money I will loose my account or are you allowed to do that with good friends?

Yes you are allowed. If you are really paranoid you can always just trade her the gold.

You are both the same faction right? If so then there shouldn't be any issue giving gold to a friend. A relativly small amount like 1k shouldn't raise any flags with Blizzard anyway.

You could give much more than that and it would still be fine.

I use my girlfriends account as my personal bank. Never had any issues.

1k gold will not be a problem. Be aware that money mailed from one account to another takes one hour to arrive. You can trade it instantly. We had a guild contest for first people to 85. I traded the 10k first prize and emailed the 5k second prize, no problem.

There's much more than just the transfer of in-game gold in determining if someone's a "gold farmer". Even if your action raised any type of flag, Blizzard would investigate further before taking action and if there's nothing to be concerned about, they won't take action.

Mail away! Smiley: wink
