On the subject of Blizzard's attempt to deal with the high population by drastically decreasing spawn times, I have noticed that sometimes if I am near enough when someone else, even someone from the other faction, kills a named quest MoB that I need to kill I get the credit for the quest. Provided it doesn't drop something I need to loot and bring back to the quest-giver.
This has been very helpful when I'm standing there with four or five other people waiting for the named quest MoB to pop and some of them are from the other faction and cannot join a group with me.
EDIT: Oh, and on the original topic, how about that gunship flying over Deepholm? Holy What The Hell Happened Batman! I got overwhelmed while trying to just forget about looting and get out - on my Pally no less.
