I can't decide!Follow

Ok Less then a day and counting and I still can't decide which toon to level. I know i can;t be the ONLY person with this problem. Most of my toons are linked in my sig I also leveled a Troll Druid to 80 (On Dark Iron).

Right now I can't decide rogue, which has always been my 'main'. But I worry about over abundant dps. I really like druid healing also, so that one was up there. I'm not huge tank person so my pally can wait. And mainly its between those classes.

Ugh anyone else having this issue, which way are you leaning, thoughts?

InB4 "Level which ever is most fun. Herp derp" They are all fun otherwise I wouldn't have leveled them.

I'm doing main first then his profession feeder if that helps.

Capping a crafting profession is easier at the start of an xpac when the blue PvP stuff and other easy to learn patterns are actually used. Except JC of course and I'm not sure how engineering works at high end for skill ups. The armor type ones though are easy to skill when the gear is in demand and expensive after.

Plus you can buy mats and have better turn over early in the xpac. I made good money making the Trollwoven stuff early on in WotLK. My tailor was a late comer and capping was very expensive.

Skilling to the cap can be brutal with the benefit of lots of gold or people willing to provide mats. Most raid drop patterns aren't given to those who can't make them either as you need to be capped to use them. So maybe think of your professions when deciding.

That may have just confused you more but maybe not.

my order:

DK, Hunter, Warrior.
Or maybe DK, Warrior, Hunter.
either way, my DK will hit 85 1st. I plan to take the DK one "Way" and the Hunter through different zone. The Warrior did 15-80 in randoms as a tank. I had planned to do 80-85 the same way :o
Then back to the druid.

OR

I may do a lvl or two on each, then let them rest (and change to a different one) and so on. I'm in no rush to get to 85. I played in beta and really enjoyed what I got to do...so I want to enjoy it all again (And parts I didn't get to see/do).

I thought I got it with the DK first and Priest second but I’m back to the drawing board, I have to much fun Tanking with my Warrior. Something just Click this week-end on how to relax and AOE tank with my Warrior that makes my other Tank feel like boring.

So the “new” line up is: Warrior and Priest

Let's say you put all your characters into a pit and made them fight to the death. Who do you hope wins? That's your favorite.

If you truly do not have a favorite, maybe consider:

1. Do you want to raid? If so, what does your guild need?
2. Do you have a particular profession you want leveled first? Which character has it?
3. Which T11 armor set do you think looks coolest?

But really, if you've already leveled a troll druid to 80, I'm not sure it's a big issue. You'll have all your people at 85 before I hit 81.

For me I have a clear main so it's not an issue. She has tailoring/enchanting. I probably won't change those on her. But I made the most money during Wrath on JC/alchemy together, so next I'll be leveling alts with mining/JC and herbalism/alch to be my cubicle slaves.

Druid, for the versatility if nothing else.

I was having this trouble as well until the pally over hall and ability to become Tauren made my pally seem all new and fun again. Most of my acheesements and specialty mounts are on my pally. Plus he actually has a self sustainable prof mix of Herb/Alchy. The rest of my alt army is kind of dependent on the gathering profs of other parts of the alt army lol.

For you Bean though I's say Druid. So much more versatile and kitty is in a pretty good place atm. I love my rogue but after playing my new troll kitty I wonder why anyone would want to be a rogue when druid has all that and so much more.

Of course the hybrids vs pure class debate is a whole other can of worms. >.>
