Ok Less then a day and counting and I still can't decide which toon to level. I know i can;t be the ONLY person with this problem. Most of my toons are linked in my sig I also leveled a Troll Druid to 80 (On Dark Iron).

Right now I can't decide rogue, which has always been my 'main'. But I worry about over abundant dps. I really like druid healing also, so that one was up there. I'm not huge tank person so my pally can wait. And mainly its between those classes.

Ugh anyone else having this issue, which way are you leaning, thoughts?

InB4 "Level which ever is most fun. Herp derp" They are all fun otherwise I wouldn't have leveled them.

Do you have any particular reason to rush one to 85? If so, then that likely contains the key to your answer. If not, since you've narrowed it down to two, from what it sounds like, then either level both at the same time(alternate zones and level using up rest XP) or flip a coin, IMO.

I'm doing main first then his profession feeder if that helps.

Capping a crafting profession is easier at the start of an xpac when the blue PvP stuff and other easy to learn patterns are actually used. Except JC of course and I'm not sure how engineering works at high end for skill ups. The armor type ones though are easy to skill when the gear is in demand and expensive after.

Plus you can buy mats and have better turn over early in the xpac. I made good money making the Trollwoven stuff early on in WotLK. My tailor was a late comer and capping was very expensive.

Skilling to the cap can be brutal with the benefit of lots of gold or people willing to provide mats. Most raid drop patterns aren't given to those who can't make them either as you need to be capped to use them. So maybe think of your professions when deciding.

That may have just confused you more but maybe not.

The links aren't working for me, but the answer is obvious: Bacon!

How could you say no to Bacon?

my order:

DK, Hunter, Warrior.
Or maybe DK, Warrior, Hunter.
either way, my DK will hit 85 1st. I plan to take the DK one "Way" and the Hunter through different zone. The Warrior did 15-80 in randoms as a tank. I had planned to do 80-85 the same way :o
Then back to the druid.

OR

I may do a lvl or two on each, then let them rest (and change to a different one) and so on. I'm in no rush to get to 85. I played in beta and really enjoyed what I got to do...so I want to enjoy it all again (And parts I didn't get to see/do).

I prefer levelling a hybrid class first so I can fill any of 2-3 roles in the guild runs depending on what is needed. After a lot of players hit 85, I can settle down to my most favourite spec(healing).

I thought I got it with the DK first and Priest second but I’m back to the drawing board, I have to much fun Tanking with my Warrior. Something just Click this week-end on how to relax and AOE tank with my Warrior that makes my other Tank feel like boring.

So the “new” line up is: Warrior and Priest

Currently for me, I'll probably level my rogue first as she's my main. Afterward, I'll most likely level my mage so Feyras and Theo don't yell at me for not being on.

This will probably be the order based on my toons below:
Rogue
Mage
Paladin
Shaman
Druid
Priest
Hunter
Warrior

Somewhere between them all, I'll eventually start up my worgen and goblin. I'm going to attempt to let the starter areas die down a bit before working on them.

Let's say you put all your characters into a pit and made them fight to the death. Who do you hope wins? That's your favorite.

If you truly do not have a favorite, maybe consider:

1. Do you want to raid? If so, what does your guild need?
2. Do you have a particular profession you want leveled first? Which character has it?
3. Which T11 armor set do you think looks coolest?

But really, if you've already leveled a troll druid to 80, I'm not sure it's a big issue. You'll have all your people at 85 before I hit 81.

For me I have a clear main so it's not an issue. She has tailoring/enchanting. I probably won't change those on her. But I made the most money during Wrath on JC/alchemy together, so next I'll be leveling alts with mining/JC and herbalism/alch to be my cubicle slaves.

1. I do raid, err, did raid but my raiding guild pretty much imploded as most took a WoW break after we finished 11/12 HM and it seems a lot of them came back. So No i don't have a raiding guild atm but will be finding one soon.

2.I have all professions except Alchemy 450, with multiple miners/ herbists. Not really in a rush to get crafts up, but I will be farming with a Miner/Herber soon as I hit 85.

3. I like both rogue and druid, so thats still a toss up lol

I like this answer. It sounds to me like you'd value flexibility.

I was having this trouble as well until the pally over hall and ability to become Tauren made my pally seem all new and fun again. Most of my acheesements and specialty mounts are on my pally. Plus he actually has a self sustainable prof mix of Herb/Alchy. The rest of my alt army is kind of dependent on the gathering profs of other parts of the alt army lol.

For you Bean though I's say Druid. So much more versatile and kitty is in a pretty good place atm. I love my rogue but after playing my new troll kitty I wonder why anyone would want to be a rogue when druid has all that and so much more.

Of course the hybrids vs pure class debate is a whole other can of worms. >.>

First I am going to level my main, Hunter, after that Druid (mostly for Alchemy and Herbalisme and after that Shaman (only Horde 80 I have).

And in between going to start a Worgen and Goblin, just to see the beginner's area's, not sure if I will get them to 85.

Why? Are you flexable? Smiley: sly

But yes, yes I do. Flexibility and adaptability are win. Smiley: smile

I meant the OP would value flexibility - the druid can do pretty much whatever his other options can do, plus TURN INTO A BAT.

You're more of a career druid. You only value beer.

I support this answer too. Although my main is a druid so my opinion is probably skewed. Seriously though, if you're looking for a raiding guild going with a hybrid is going to be your best bet. That way whatever role they need filled, you can do.

Well i guess what I'm going to do is Troll druid (Dark Iron) first. Then Rogue > Druid > Insert other toons here on Frostmourne Oceanic. As the aussie guild i was in went belly up and im having a hard time finding another guild ATM.

It just worries me becuase all my crafters are on Frostmourne, and all my fun stuff; BOA, Pets, Mounts, are there also.

I Would relink all my toons but meh.
