So, what’s your professions for Cata?Follow

I wish they hadn't screwed up engineering for melee DPS. Casters get 480 int for 12 sec on a 1 min CD. Healers could alternatively get the Z50 Mana Gulper for increased effect on mana pots. Tanks have 1500 armor for 12 sec on a 1 min CD and/or a 16-19k absorb shield, those may or may not share a CD. And physical DPS gets the Tazik Shocker, average of 4800 damage on a 2 min CD, for a whopping extra 40 DPS over the duration. They probably took out the haste tinker because Herbalism has a haste CD now.

I'm probably going to level my gathering toons first just to exploit the material prices for a week or two, that should make a nice hefty amount of gold and mats to powerlevel all my other characters professions.

edit: My main would be best what with crusader aura and 310% speed flying (and aura mastery!) but i'd hate to redo blacksmithing and jewelcrafting and my DK with on a pale horse has too much invested in inscription research. I guess i'll compromise with pathfinding on my hunter and just drop engineering so i can grab tons of metal and herbs.

I have a number of 80's with maxxed crafting profs. It seems sort of silly to change profs, since they're all useful and I've put a lot of time/money into them. In fact, I'm leveling my toons in order partially based on their profs. For instance, since I have a BS, I definitely want to level him first so that he can supply armor to my warrior, pally, and DK.
