Cataclysm Closed Beta Key Contest!Follow

The thing I am looking forward to most is the new lore. I have been losing interest in WoW and the changes to the lore in Cataclysm looks great, it will really be the thing to make me want to play and enjoy the game again.

Personaly, I'm really waiting for the new race/class combos.
Always wanted a human hunter!
Also with the redoing of the old world, along with the phasing with quest. Finaly actually see my efforts in quests show up! Can't tell you how much I hated seeing nothing change after doing all these helpful things for a quest hub.
I'm also very happy to see all the class overhauls with mechanics. Everything but rogues and warriors (before death knights) having mana, was rather boring. I think adding the little different class mechanics is a nice way of not having everything feel the same, and making playing each class unique.

But yeah, thats the things I'm most excited about with Cataclysm. In general, I really can't wait for this expansion to come out, it's definetly not just another "We get to kill this guy and get a new zone". It's actually expanding on the things from the old game, rather than just making you forget about it.

For me the real treat will be the 2 new races Goblin and Worgen, when Blizzard last introduced new races in WoW was the TBC expansion I was privilaged enough to be able to play through the Beta on that occasion.

So if your around in the Beta or on Lightbringer EU in Cataclysm say hello to Woblin the Goblin Priest and Schmorgen the worgen pally thanks and good luck everyone.

I've only ever played one character. Since November 2004, no less. In Cataclysm, I'll re-level him, from Tauren to Worgen Druid. Ever since that day in Silverpine, getting killed by my first Son of Arugal on a very, very, cold December evening, I am infatuated with Worgen - maybe I'll get a chance to see Gilneas before the official release... here's hoping :)

There's not much I wouldn't be excited about!

My first decision after hearing about Cata was to level up a goblin shaman, for two very specific reasons: I have no shaman alt as of yet and GOBLINS <3 The model looks great, and the whole race has always struck to me as very horde-like already.

Now the new alt leads to me being excited about the zones revamp, as I have 5 lvl 80 characters already. Been there and done that in the old zones. Had the 1-60 experience remained as it was I doubt I'd even level my new shammy until I was extremely bored.

And that leads me to the new talent trees and new skills for each of my 80s. I was so thrilled when I heard pallies get new toys, and oh boy do I love my druid's skills or what? (and even my as-of-late ignored shadow priest gets some love her way)

What am I MOST excited about? The zones & the raids and toys 'n' gear 'n' stuff or my new baby shammy? If I get to name just one pick right here and now I'd say my shammy. I liked the DK immersion event thingie, and I bet I will like the goblin starting quests as well (and every one of us is a goblin at heart). Shaman as a class is something I've wanted to try for a long time, and I've been saving my last character slot in my selected realm just to get a goblin shammy. The long wait must be worth it.

Now, to get to try it already in beta would be a fullfillment to all of my WoW-related dreams, I'm a beta junkie.

I wanna ride those seahorses and the goblin mount. I wanna open a rogue as Goblin or a Druid as a Worgen. Please give me one of that KEY please :).

I'm most excited to try the new instances which i've heard is a really fun challenge now. I'm also hyped about seeing the old world (wich i loved) to change into something new (wich i love even more according to mmo-champion). I'm alot into lore aswell so i would like to see how Hyjal will fit into the lore. The worgens and Goblins is also extremly cool and i would soo wanna try these now. But the clearly biggest reason for why i want invite to the cataclysm Beta is that i so badly want to give feedback. Personally i found nothing funnier than test out things before others to help improve it so the later players / users will have a much more pleasant experience!

Frankly new content at all is a great motivator. Going to try both new races and some of the new race/class combos. I am also REALLY looking forward to Uldum. I have always loved hearing more about the titans. Having a whole zone dedicated to them is going to be great fun. All in all I have high expectations for it. I would love to be in beta to help troubleshoot it and make it better for all involved.

I'm most looking forward to playing a goblin mage. I levelled a gnome mage to get an alliancce perspective of the game, but ultimately I'm horde biased. The added talents to shaman and druid come in a close second, with Azeroth flying a third.

I can't WAIT to see how Azeroth will look like from above the skies, it's something i've been dreaming to see since i started playing WoW in 2006.

Looking forward to the guild leveling and perks, for sure!
