I'm really excited to see the final protection warrior design for cataclysm.
I'm also looking forward to the new raid encounters as well as all the new 5-man dungeons.

I'm really looking forward to the new zones and the changes being made to old zones, I'm hoping that these changes will refresh the leveling experience and make it fun to level characters again =D

Also looking forward to the flying in Azeroth, as it would make helping friends a lot easier.

Been playin WoW for about 4 years, and I am definitely looking forward to this expansion the most out of all of them =D

I'm looking forward to finally see the new raidcontent, what I've seen from beta movies and so on it looks very interesting and I hope they will be more fun than the raids in WotLK.
So I just can't wait to get into those raid instances and beat the enemy within, and of course to continue making movies for people to enjoy.
Heard they will release multi instances similar to BC's TK+SSC.

Looking forward to:

1. Rolling a Goblin rogue and sneaking around enemy cities in that hilarious sneaking animation.
2. Rolling a Worgen Feral Druid and transforming from a wolf to a cat.
3. The new Profession perks/recipes/items/mounts!
4. Seeing the old world in all it's newly-broken glory!

What makes me so eager to see what the new expansion has to offer is the new loot distribution system for raids. People will now be able to get the same items both in 10 and 25 men encounters, so there will be the possibility for small guilds to get to the same equipment level of the biggest ones.
People willing to raid just with a small group of friends will be given the possibility to do so, and still not miss any of the ingame features (regarding loot).

Furthermore, it will be cool to have a whole new WORLD (not just a continent) to explore and in which to hunt for the many easter eggs and hidden zones that blizzard guys got us used to find in the good ol' azeroth! I already can see the many many MANY new things popping up in various places. Let's see if the ability to fly, hence reach every single place, discouraged our mappers, or if they managed to get us running around screenshotting cool areas again!

I'm really excided to start leveling my 4 characters again.
Begining a worgen warrior and a goblin rogue, next to that i really want to see how my main hunter will grow in this next age and if even the healing of my shaman will be.
But most anxious I'm in to see how the new scenery will be, how Stormwind will be and how Ogrimmar has evolved and raiding both of them

with love Seppuka executes the lovely hunter :)

Two words: Gnome Priest!

I can't wait to quest trough Hyjal. I love the Warcraft lore. So I'm really looking forward to finally meet Malfurion.

What i'm honestly looking forward to the most is just the new questing area's, and how i can once again level together with my friends and have a blast together.

I'm most excited about how the different races can be more classes. It gives us more options to choose from like being a dwarf mage or a troll druid! I also think a Worgen rouge is going to be very fun to play!

I'm traditional player, but I'd play goblin and check out the new talents. See the new changes and how it feels to PVP,oh and also check the new places too. This Expansion i think is blizzard best, can't wait to see what my toon will look like in the future

What I am most excited about in the new Cataclysm exapansion is the possible underwater mounts (because i am a collector) and the new achivements since I love going after them. I also like the two new races that we will be able to play.

As a player that started wow when it was brand new i just cant wait to see how my dear Azeroth will be, in terms of lovely npc's as Manrik and his lovely wife.
to see it all with brand new eyes trough a green goblin sounds so exciting that it consumes my day and night.
Also to level up my Shaman and Warrior up with the new zones and dungeons sounds exciting to heal and tank and gain new experience.
But first thing i wanna do is find Thrall and give him a nice manly hug ^^

Well, I guess the main thing i'm looking forward to is leveling my main (A mage) to 85. I enjoy the expansion leveling as it's not as bland and 'simple' as vanilla is, ofcourse that is changing but still. I'm also, to the suprise of some, looking forward to checking out Archeology, I haven't seen or even heard much about it as of yet, and the other things i'm mainly looking forward to are the goblin and worgen starting areas, i've seen a bit about these and they look great! Oh did I forget to mention the new raids, and the lore leading upto Deathwing, i'm brimming with excitement!

I'm very exited about how much dps im gonna pull off in lvl 85.

Between the new content, redone zones, storyline continuations, 2 new races and the class changes, there is way to much of interest to really narrow down what I am most looking forward to.

If I really needed to narrow it down, it would probably be the talent changes along with the lore (and zone changes w/phasing). This will alone change so much with the way the game is played I really look forward to seeing it.

I relly wanna play the new cataclysm expansion. I want to try out the new 5 man-dungeons!
That i relly want to try out is how goblin and worgen is getting better for every patch see the differents and see what bugg they have fixed and if they are changeing looking of them and everything. Then i want to move over my level 80 and fly with flying mount over hole azeroth and explore the new places. I will try to help blizzard to fix some bugs if i find. Thank you!

I am most excited about is how arenas and rated battlegrounds will work with the new "balance". Also, can't wait for the new 5man and 10man instances, not a walk in the park anymore (I hope)! :D

Last but not least, the new hunter mechanics! I've been playing a hunter since day one so I know I can provide solid feedbacks. :P

#6746 Aug 01 2010 at 11:29 AM Rating: Decent
I'm currently looking forward to all of the class changes and the talent changes. Also looking forward to flying around in Azeroth.

I'm most excited about seeing twinking come back and how the talents will spice up the fighting in twink battlegrounds, well of course all playing the new races and doing new starting zones. Hey, not to mention new items = more stuff for twinking to get excited about. And also me and some buds are starting a 10 player guild for raids now that they're equal.

Personally I'm most looking forward to the leveling experience from 1-60, as a huge fan of vanilla WoW, I'm hoping that the talent tree changes & world changes will bring back that amazing feeling you got when you first played WoW, with the currently leveling experience for me being more of a burden than a fun experience. I'm hoping that all of the new dynamics added to the talents & way you train spells coupled with the changes to the environment will re-kindle that feeling you got when you first entered a zone such as iconic as westfall for the first time. I'm hoping that with said changes that teamwork will also be brought back into questing, think of the Defias Messenger quest (Pre-BC) to know what I mean. :)

I'm looking forward to the new questing-system and all the new changes to all the old areas.
#6750 Aug 01 2010 at 11:37 AM Rating: Decent
Right so, here it goes...
Most likely the things that is keeping me excited about Cataclysm are the following: the revamped zones (naturaly if they change the entire enviorment, they'll have to change quests - alot of them, stories, landscapes - since flying mounts - who knows maybe more vanilla instances than those which have been already mentioned); the Hyjal zone (Malfurion, Cenarius, probably Malorne, I read that this area will be quite the place); the new secondary profession, Archaeology; the old PvP titles, along with the changes they plan to do in PvP.

There are many thing to look forward to in cata from what ive seen and heard. Things like epic graphics uber pissed of dragons, new dungeons & raids, oldworld flying, oldworld landscape rebuild, new races, quests ect. Theres also the little things to please us like sniffing worgens and trying to out jew a goblin, being a giant *** cow pally or a stubby dwarf sham. With all this in mind the biggest reason i wanna play cata is the new sham healer spells. I have always mained a sham healer i love healing and i love shaman but i currently dont much enjoy just being a chain heal spam machine like blizz has it setup. I really wanna check out these new sham heals ive been hearing about cause i think they will bring a whole new healing style and strat to the table and give me something to do other than mash 1 button and use a riptide every 8 secs.
