I can't wait for Cataclysm! I've read all of the WoW books and the lore of the dragon flights is awesome! I am anxious to explore the new quests and lore, fly in Azeroth, and kill some dragons! I've been playing WoW for 5 years and I still get excited to hear about every new expansion! The lore is so intricate and vastly spread that you can easily immerse yourself in the game and feel like you're part of the action! I love it!

I'm really excited for the new zones from 80-85. Blizz has been doing a better and better job with their zone and quest designs. I'm also looking forward to the revamped old world zones. I'm going to level a couple of alts to see all of them, too. OH and all the class changes, too!

Things that I look forward to with Cataclysm ...

I'm looking forward to a much needed revamp of Azeroth, including changes to some of my favorite zones! (A flooded Thousand Needles? I will shudder in sheer awe whilst flying over it with incorporated flying mounts!) Plus, Heroic Vanilla instances? Bravo!

I am also greatly looking forward to the addition of new race-class combinations. This will allow me a chance to race change to something a bit more suited to the in-game look I want ... such as a Troll Druid! Who doesn't want tusks as a Badgerskunk?

Two new very Lore-backed races, which can satisfy any junky and their need to experience everything there is in World of Warcraft. I will make both a Goblin and Worgen, for sure.

The Mastery system, with the new talents, looks pretty great so far with the preview I have gotten. Class specialization is a great idea, and it would be fantastic to be able to test it out and how it pans out in the early stages of leveling.

The new guild UI and looks great, and will add meaning to the countless hours of farming, whether it be PvP, professions, reputation grinds ... the whole works! It will give an added boost to those who are loyal and stick by their guild, and promote progression. Two of those are things I look for in a guild.

I'm also very looking forward to the Reforging system, which I commonly read as 'Runeforging'. This will make gearing up so much simpler, where you are not bound by secondary stats such as Critical Strike Rating, Haste Rating, and Hit Rating. BiS items will be very much broader, allowing a wide range of modifications while encouraging more loot distribution when not looking for merely one specific drop, but maybe four or five will suit you well!

Those are most of the things I am excited for, but there are so much more! Changes in leadership, betrayal, a new threat to Azeroth, a whole new ******* of spells, weapons, and armor! World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is probably my most anticipated expansion for World of Warcraft so far, just because it sounds like it will be amazing!

Hi ZAM,

I am a hunter at heart and thus Im really looking forward to the hunter changes.

I would really like to try and lvl a human or worgen hunter, to see how it works. And make a premade hunter, to see how it works at the endgame content, since I doubt that there will be enough time to properly lvl a hunter all the way.

In the live version I have tried lvling other classes, but since I only lvl them when I get bored of my hunter they arent that high level.

Although I havent played since vanilla I have gone through most of the content and Im really excited about the zone changes and I have seen the Goblin starting area, which really speaks to my love for engineering, so I will probably also have to lvl a Goblin hunter.

Hope you have enough people working on this to read all the posts..

Regards,

Carrock the Hunter

The part of cataclysm im most excited about is doing old dungeons in heroic mode, or check out new places. The one thing im looking forward to is the new skills and talents characters are gonna get, like warlocks can get doomgaurds at level 10

I'm most looking forward to seeing how the Cataclysm has changed the landscape of the 'old world'. I'll miss the old look, but it's time for a change!

Excited to finally play as the class I choose from the very beginning and not some 20 levels and 10s of talent points later. Revamped leveling and talent trees. That's what I'm looking forward to in Cataclysm.

I am looking forward most to finally having Goblins that are playable! I can't wait for Horde to have a small class that is hard to target. I am also looking forward to flying in the old world and quest redesign which will bring things up to the 2010 style.

I am most looking forward to flying mounts in the old world. Also the barrens quests being revamped will be sweet. I like to level there now, but the same old quests get boring.

I am most looking forward to seeing how they implement the rune system changes for DKs (and making a goblin for the sweet ride and perks of course!)

I'm looking forward to Cataclysm because of all the new layouts and changes. I can't wait to try out the worgen and goblin classes and there new starting zones. It will also be very fun when we get the chance to fly all around Azeroth and see all of the new changes to the layout of the game and the improved graphics of Cataclysm LIKE THE WATER <3333 8D. And also trying out the character with the new skills and modified talent tress!!

As a regular WoW player, (meaning most of the day until i have to eat or sleep), I think the thing I'm looking forward to most in Cataclysm has got to be the Worgen starting Zone. I'm really into lore and the story of the Worgen so actually being able to play through it would be amazing. That and just being able to see the new art actually in game. It's one thing to read about it in articles but to go through it first hand and see just what the changes are would be epic.

I am excited to see the guild leveling, and rewards. I think this is a great addition to the game as it will reward all players for working together and help build friendships.

I'm very excited about all the changes to Azeroth and it blows my mind to think that new people that start after cataclysm will never get to see the way the original Azeroth looked beforehand.

What I am looking forward the most is how dynamic the old world will be, now that phasing will be present. In WotLK I felt like I was part of the story as the world was changing according to my victories or defeats, and I am curious and excited about this because leveling from 1 to 60 right now doesn't make me feel that way. I think Cataclysm will change that and keep me as excited as leveling from 71 to 80 did.

The other thing is the big changes in the story! I started playing the saga of Warcraft in WCIII:RoC and TFT and I knew that the Lich King would fall, but the story behind the Dragonflights and Deathwing is rather new to me. It keeps me interested in how it will develop and what consequences will this bring to Azeroth.

I am really excited about the changes to Azeroth as a whole I can't wait to explore them on my flying mount.

I am also excited about the changes to classes and talents.
Overall I can't wait for Cata to come out. :)

Far and away the thing I'm looking forward to most in Cataclysm is the completely redone questing for not only new zones but all of the updated zones as well. After playing the original WoW beta and playing the real game since day one, I can't wait to experience a completely new leveling experience. Needless to say I'll be rolling a goblin priest with my friend who will be rolling a goblin warrior, and I'll savor every minute of every quest as i level to 85.

I'm mostly looking forward to the guild perks. Recently Blizzard released a list of the 25 perks and I got very excited. They're really upping the social aspect of the game. Now your input into the guild can really be noticed AND rewarded. Now players don't have to complain that they're getting nothing out of the guild and leave.

I am excited, I am also torn, I am looking forward to tanking all the new content 5mans and raids when they drop. However at some stage I will need to take the time to FLY around Azeroth and see all the changes...this will take me weeks alone. I also need a worgen and as i don't have a Hunter yet I've already made a placeholder in my toon list. But then again I suppose thats part of what the suspense and excitement is as theres so much to do in the expansion and so little time. I wish I'm currently in the process of lvling all my current alts to 80 so the wont have as much to do come expansion. But i think my second account will be getting a heap more toons. As changed azeroth seems like it will be some fun to level in. At least if i can pull of a beta key I can knock some of the stuff off the list before cat drops and make life a little easier on myself (see azeroth in its new form and learn dungeons so i can run guildies through)

I'm looking forward to levelling in a completely new Azeroth. I've always liked the lore of the game, and seeing what happens in Cataclysm will be interesting. As for levelling a low level alt, It will be great to see what new quests await an epic journey to level 85.

I'm most looking forward to checking out the Archaeology profession. That, and playing Goblin characters.

I'd have to say the most excited thing about Cataclysm is the redo of the old world and the 1-60 questing. It'll make it feel like a whole new game. Plus with all the changes I know a lot of my friends that have quit the game that are coming back just because of the changes in Cataclysm.

Also ninja werewolves(worgen rogues) and holy cows(tauren paladins), but that's a given.
