#402 Jul 26 2010 at 7:24 PM Rating: Decent
Hello, I am looking forward to Cataclysm. I am looking forward to the new class combination the most. I am looking to roll an Undead hunter in the new expansion. I would like to see what Undead hunters pets will be if they will be any skeleton type.

Thanks,

Hope I win!

I am looking forward to new Content and the prospect of leveling alts in the new revamped Low Level Areas and from what i heard about the Worgen and Goblin starting areas that they sound really cool and with the new phasing that they have that the world is actually going to change as you do quests so that the world even if it is not really makes you seem like you makeing a difference

I am looking forward to the revamped areas! As an altaholic it will be nice to follow some new story lines as I level alts.

The change to the graphics is exciting as well, so far the new water effect looks great so I can't wait to see the rest.

I've been playing WoW since Vanilla, and I missed out on raiding old school. I did get a shot at a few pugs for AQ40 and was laughed at frequently for still using the Hypnotic Blade, lol. I know it wasn't the best weapon or even close to it for a mage, but I used it because I had fun and didn't care what my gear was like.
Of course times have changed and I started raiding heavily in BC and took down Illidan pre-nerf, and I started loosing interest in anything but raiding. Then Wrath came out and I leveled my character fast, missing out on a lot of the background lore and quest lines just so I could start raiding Naxx. I did this with four other toons and continued this style well into Ulduar.
Finally life intervened and I had to stop raiding, and I realized that I didn't know how to have fun any more. I barely play anymore, accept to play the auctions. I do not know what it is to not be a raider anymore and just have fun.

So that it what I look forward to in Cataclysm, re-learning how to have fun again in a new world.

I'm most excited to experience WOW with the new textures that are being produced, adds a more life-like appeal -at least for me-, as well as i'm sure everyone is just ready to do something new in wow. Well new in context of the release.

I am looking forward to being able to roll a non-nelf, non-tauren druid. Worgen Moonkin ftw. I just could never stand the starting zones for the first druid races, but now I will get to take part in all the shapeshifting goodness!

I can't wait to fly over Azeroth and see all the changes, and to experience flying over the world I first saw in vanilla.

I'm looking forward to finally getting a goblin that can fly over Stormwind on a bombing run.

The biggest thing im looking forward to in cata is the reworking of the old zones and quests. I remember when i first started my first char, a night elf hunter, everything was new and exciting. Whether it was going to auberdine and getting a bear for a pet for the first time, or the first time i went through deadmines, it was all great. Everything seemed so huge and never ending. I remember when i finally hit 20 and was able to get dual wield for my hunter, it was the coolest moment ever. Now after leveling 1 of every class but a warlock,(saving that one for cata) past lv 20 leveling has gotten almost bland and feels like grinding. With the new changes to the quests and zones in cata, i am hoping to recapture some of that old magic feel of a new game.

There's lots of things I'm looking forward to in Cataclysm, but I've always been fond of the evolving nature of the classes in World of Warcraft. While I can't wait to see all the new zones and new content, I also can't wait to see how the classes evolve and become ever closer to the vision Blizzard has for them. If there's one thing I love about WoW, it's how it never gets stale! I also really want to see the new druid tree form model, and the way Paladins are going to shape up. The new Holy Power mechanic looks really interesting.

Looking forward to the graphics update, I know it will be limited but for an old engine it's a nice addition.

Also looking forward to seeing Azeroth made over, what an undertaking by the Devs.

Looking forward to trying out all the warrior changes and the new leveling experience

I'm a HUGE lore junkie. I'm most excited about the return of Malfurion, the changes to old world Azeroth and the introduction to major changes in the way things in the world are done. Also super stoked about Sylvanas taking a stand against Garrosh. And definitely seeing how Garrosh leading the Horde pans out. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I'm sure Thrall thought it through. Or did he...?

I'm very interested in the developments in the lore and how the changes to the Old World will be implemented to further the lore. I'm also sorry about the things that will disappear, but I'm hoping Blizz will find ways to preserve many of the old questlines and integrate them with the new lore. I will probably roll new characters in each of the old (and new) starting areas to experience the new Old World as a new character sees it. I always love watching the video introduction when I roll a new character, and there is an excitement and newness to rolling a new character that I miss.

I'm excited to have new quests to do while leveling. It's gotten so boring doing the same ones over and over.

What I am looking forward to in Cataclysm is being able to level and fly around in Azeroth. I wonder how they are going to change places in Azeroth to accompany the ability to fly. For example, the part of Tirisfal Glades that is just a void of colors and stuff. On a side note though I will enjoy having the ability to lust on my mage.

I'm most excited about seeing the new zones (and re-done zones) from the air on my fliers and doing all the new quests that come with the changes. :)

I can't wait for the new 1-60 experience for levelling. It gives me an extra push to make a new character and enjoy something new and different in the lower levels of the game! Can't Wait!!!!

I have played World of Warcraft for the past almost 2 years now. I am most looking forward to the new starting areas and the new quests. I have 2 80s and the thought of leveling another one in the current world fills me with disgust. I have tried on multiple occasions to level another 80 and just get bored with it. Also I just want to make a Worgan. :)

I'm excited for the opportunity to level and gear new toons without feeling behind the "gearing curve" like I do in WotLK. A fresh start for everyone.

As a sidepart to Flying in Azeroth, I cannot wait to Divebombs some newbs all over the continent with my Hunter(Engineering cloak),Mage, or Priest. Going to be Awesome!!!! Or on my multiple person mount dropping ARMIES of said classes on people. DIE NEWBS DIE!!!!

It's hard to say what I'm most excited about. I am really excited about all the changes to the "Old World", and what that will mean for leveling new characters. I am also super excited about the changes they are making to guilds. Since my guild is a big part of my social life (lots of RL friends in my guild) it's really exciting to think of the new features we'll be able to enjoy, and the new goals we can set out to achieve together.

I am most exciited about making a wogen druid as well as the new night elf mage. The changes they are implementing are going to be so great and I will get a chance to go back on my mains and learn new ways to play them as well as finally be able to enjoy the orginal areas again without having to make a low level alt. I think this new expansion is going to be just what the need to really bring people back to the game as well as make it more interesting and fun for all of us long time players.

Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to try for a shot at the beta and I wish everyone TONS of luck for the keys!!!

I am most excited about the new PVP tensions rising with garrosh as warchief of the horde and declaring open war on the alliance. I am also excited about the new changes to the old world mainly because I have been playing for years and leveling in the old world is a drag since it is old and bland. I am also pleased about the graphical advances and how the water is looking right now.
