I'm looking forward to seeing the sweeping changes across ALL of the game world, not just Azeroth. Outland needs to be heavily retooled, and it'd be fun going back to see it in a different light. Same thing for Northrend, given the events of ICC.

Then there's all the things that have happened since regular WoW that we have not heard much on until now. Like saving the druid in the Wailing Caverns, now he's out saving the Barrens. It's going to be nice to finally see changes across the land.

Finally, my personal favorite is the idea of being able to play as a Goblin. I've always been annoyed at Gnomes, with their coy little phrases and attempts to be cute that make me want to toss them off a cliff. Goblins on the other hand, well, they're pure capitalists, and while Gnomes are about building things that would put the Doozers to shame, the Goblins on the other hand, as we all know, are all about blowing the living crap out of stuff. Throw in the fact that Horde gets Goblins, and it's all gravy.

I could care less about the Worgen.

I'm excited about seeing the old world after playing the old one for years, the new race starting zones, the new zones created by Blizzard, the new lore that will come, new difficult dungeons..

It'll be nice to see it all.. brand new again.

What I am most excited about is playing a Worgen Rogue. I have had rogue alts in the past but, the Worgen are very much in essence very Roguish. You also have Darkflight and the 1% Crit increase which is just awesome. I also really like just the way the entire race feels. Just from the starting area you get this really dark tone that is very different for the alliance. The Alliance really did need a savage race as compared to another "goody two-shoes" race. It certainly breaks the trend of what the modern werewolf is, which apparently is just a bunch of shirtless dudes who turn into non-humanoid wolves and sparkle. And of course you have some amazing story telling within the starting zone. It's not just some generic clear out all the kobolds and bandits type of story. There is an actually plot that really immerses you and I am always a big fan of good story telling in games. Blizzard defiantly is utilizing what they learned from Wrath of the Lich King phasing and they're applying that to Cataclysm. And of course there is the best part of the Worgen: Top Hats. :D

After reading all of the news about Cataclysm, I think I am most excited to get back to playing my Paladin. In Wrath I leveled a new Deathknight to 80 and decided to stick with him as my main. I can't wait to get back on my Paladin and look at all of the new talents, spells, and new dungeons to heal! I can't wait!

I am really looking forward to trying out the new mechanics of a Paladin not only as my main spec, Holy, but the whole works. The end talent Light of Dawn interests me in particular as well as the "Holy Power" reward system.

Other things like Player vs. Player might draw me in later down the road as I always found my Paladin dull in comparison to my Hunter. Some ability's such as: Denounce, and Speed of Light being the talent based ones, and others such as Word of Glory, as well as Divine Light will prove most interesting.

Protection sounds a tad buggy right now, because from what I understand their resource management is still heavily under development. However, the change to Divine Guardian is intriguing as it definitely supports the team oriented atmosphere of a raid or heroic.

Retribution, possibly my least favorite Spec, has had a pretty major overhaul, and Blizzard's gone on to say that the Retribution rotation might even be a bit too challenging right now. With the addition of Holy Power, and increased complexity maybe I can really enjoy this portion of the tree.

This is just one portion of numerous things I crave to witness, and provide my feedback on. I can only hope to be considered for a chance such as this.

I'm looking forward to all the new quests and leveling areas! I can't tell you how tired I am to see the same people and kill the same things over and over again. It's maddening! Also, FLYING IN AZEROTH WOO! And the new dungeons of course will be awesome.

I'm uber excited to get my new holy cow, as well as roll a goblin tank.

Add in the new gear changed and epeen-enchancing drops for my rogue and I'll be happy as a murloc on crack.

In the upcoming World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion, what I'm looking forward to the most is the new Aerial Offensive on Capital Cities! A completely brand new perspective on City Raids. I'm very excited about coming up with new strategies and tactics. Orgrimmar's going down! For the Alliance!
#469 Jul 26 2010 at 7:56 PM Rating: Good
I'm a healer who loves to heal 5mans-- so I am most excited to have some new 5mans to heal in Cataclysm. I'm specifically excited for the Sky wall 5man instance (and raid too!) the screenshots I have seen look really beautiful!

I am really looking forward to see new drinks especially the alcoholic ones :D and the effect of them... and certainly all new aspects of the game because I am playing for more then 4 years with short breaks and game is still getting worse in my opinion and Cataclysm is my hope to revert that :)

Looking forward to Troll Druids and flying all across Azeroth. :D
Would have been much easier to get that Explorer title if I just waited. xD

Given my inability to raid these days with family life taking priority, I can't wait to level a new toon through the revamped old zones and then onto the new zones, all while taking my time to soak it all up (i.e.no more speed leveling). Chances are it will be a Worgen to lol
#473 Jul 26 2010 at 7:57 PM Rating: Good
I'm really excited about the new leveling zones and the revamped leveling zones. Exploration is extremely fun for me. And now that they are adding so much and polishing so much I feel like I have a whole new world to explore. That and due to archeology and achievements I will be getting rewarded for doing what I love in WoW. In addition I am excited about the in-depth and interactive quests. Quests like the Wrathgate or nearly anything that feels like the story evolves physically while you're progressing along the quest.
#474 Jul 26 2010 at 7:58 PM Rating: Good
Beyond excited to walk around in the gothic city of gilneas, getting distracted then destroyed in pvp while gawking. Wanting to experience both starting zones for worgens and goblins and level through all the revamped content. Really hopin to run through all the beautiful dungeons and ride around the underwater depths.

For Cataclysm I'm greatly anticipating the storyline progression and re exploring the old world for all It's nooks and crannys, as seeing everything going on around is very important to me ^^.

The new races are of course another thing that I am intrigued about as, from what I see there will be more in depth view on how the two races progress and eventually join up with their factions in which I feel with blood elf/Draenei that there really wasn't much behind how/why the alliances came to be, so that's a additional thing I'm hoping to experience!.

Looking forward to this expansion really as I believe it really will outmatch BC/WOTLK introduction.

I'm most excited about the fact that I'll be able to wipe in Dead Mines on my main. I can't remember the last time Van Cleef killed me it was so long ago.
