With these changes, letting the LB bloom will become more prominent, maybe. It's tricky to time it and not have it overheal.
I doubt it. I'd assume that it will simply make druids use more mana which seems to be a goal at blizzard. I don't know the numbers, or if there are any, but I think the 5s rule mana nerf is offset by the buff of the spirit regen talent from 30% to 50%. that's how I understood it anyway.

It makes it a bit better for raid healing, because the return is based off base mana (i.e. if you cast a LB and let it bloom, it costs less than it does under the current system due to the mana return being more than half the actual cost). It's a nerf to how effective it is on tanks, but it's still ridiculously strong there.

Personally, with my two highest toons being a Paladin and a Warlock, I'm waiting to see what they're gonna do about soul shards since they're getting rid of quivers/bags/consumable ammo for hunters.

Looks like Blizzard is going to make it so that Drain Soul will create shards when used on any target that would grant EXP/honor (not just as a kill) -- this will buff shard generation a lot, especially on bosses. They're capping shards at 32 per warlock for this reason. I'm haven't seen anything that indicates that shards will stack; you may still need a bag of them?

Well, I'm still too low level to worry about all the spec changes and raid alterations. These two did get me excited, though:

Quote:
* All Ground Mounts may now swim without dismounting the rider. Flying Mounts still may NOT, and will dismount the rider upon entering water.

Yay! Horses (cats/rams/whatnot) have finally learned to swim.

* A new Gear Manager feature has been added. Players will now be able to save gear sets for easy gear switching.

If by "gear" this means "outfits", great! One less add-on to fiddle with updating every patch.
