I'm stymied here. I'm a VERY casual player, who's just coming back to WOW after a 6-month hiatus. (Christmas gift card...)
Just before the New Year, I purchased Black Malice at the AH - for something like 25-30g. My intent was to outfit a Tauren Druid I was leveling up, at level 14 at the time. I put it in the bag, and forgot about it.
Two nights ago, I managed to hit 16, and reached into the bag to retrieve Black Malice -- and it was gone! It's the sort of weapon that I would have remembered selling, and wouldn't have given away or thrown away. I don't play with anyone, and don't belong to any guilds - I'm a pure solo player.
Is there any point in asking a GM to look into it? Would a GM even be able to determine what happened to it? I'd kind of like to have that mace back, but I don't want to whine about it.

Please "talk up" if your comprehension white-shifts. I will use simple-happy language-words to help you understand.
From what i have heard, they can not restore anything over one day missing. From your standpoint, I would definately try.

Heck, at this point I've chalked it up as a loss, but I'd still really like to know what happened to it. I'll contact a GM when I'm back in again.
