I bought one of the mage tomes today for 7000 honor.. dont know if that was a decrease though...
That's a huge decrease, they were 22500 pre-patch!

Did you get the HWL/GM one or one of the ones from AV? The ones from AV i'm pretty sure were always 7k honor. I was just on, and from what I can tell the change mainly comes from the tokens. For example the HWL Tome of Destruction is still 22.5k honor, but now only costs 20 AB tokens instead of 40 like before.

I actually got my hopes up when I read that patch note but it was short lived. I was hoping the actual honor point cost would have gone down. Getting tokens hasn't been a problem for me.
Price of pvp trinket has been noted to be steep. Maybe it was changed?
I also noticed that they sell potions for tokens now too-but I was so busy running around looking for other changes I didn't notice the requirements for the potions(they were all red to my lvl 60). I believe the potions were 2 tokens each, so it would be a good thing to use the extra tokens on, to save up potions for the Outlands IF these are usable outside of bgs. If they are not, well then I don't really see the point of them as I cannot use them for sometime!
Most potions from BG arnt usable outside BG.
But since you most likely have too much tokens to spend (compared to the honor you have) you should purchase them anyhow.
