* Blacksmithing/Leatherworking specialization has changed with specialization providing recipes to make powerful items that only you can wear. You can now unlearn a blacksmithing or leatherworking specialization and learn a different one by finding the appropriate NPC, paying the fee to unlearn your old specialization, and then find the new specialist to learn a new one. Also, all of the old blacksmithing/leatherworking recipes that required specialization no longer require it and can be learned by any blacksmith/leatherworker.
* Silver/Golden/Mystic/Runic Spellthread have been increased in power.

Does anyone else have a problem with the above named enchants not working as well after you pass lvl 60? To me this just sounds like a very clumsy fix to a scaling problem they might foresee in the future. After 70 is the new level cap, what significance does being level 60 have now? It just seems like an awkward system....

As for the blacksmithing/leatherworking changes... I am pretty tired at the moment, but it sounds like it doesn't matter what specialization you take because now you can learn ALL of the old recipes (I'm assuming it will matter in TBC). Again, it kind of sounds clumsy....

Thats great, I actually took the time to farm the mats for that, thanks bliz.
I dont see HOW potency matters for this enchant?

If it procs you get 30 life and the mob looses 30 life. It will be the same no matter what level you are. Grumble grumble.

this really troubles me
i just got crusader on my HWL sword and warblade of the Hikari. espically for grinding..

now they say i can learn any LW patterns? so i can go buy DS patterns and elemental and learn all of those too>? i just seen the LW market take a massive **** on the carpet and this time blizz cannot clean it up.

Think about all the LW's and BS being able to make every GD recipe.

t (-.-) t Blizz you just made gold making even harder to get.

You yourself are credible, but could you please provide a link?

Icy enchant decreasing in effect makes almost no sense to me.

Why haven't they busted the twink's asses about enchants yet?

It's at the bottom of the patch notes. As for the blacksmithing/leatherworking changes, sounds like they're changing the specializations for level 60+ stuff, and I am just guessing here, and adding more armor specializations to reflect the variety of play styles players have developed. At least, I HOPE that's what they're doing...

I know this has very little to do with the question posed, but:
