I saw this today on the WoW launcher, and clicked it:
The Dark Portal opens!
If you read into the article (3rd story down if it does not pull up at it), it mentions the troops of Nethergarde Keep, and Argent Dawn are fighting it head-on. I wonder if this could mean new Argent rep quests.
This would be wonderful for all of us out there who are still trying to grind up those last few thousand points for their Revered or Exalted doo-hikies.
Anyone have any info?

There is atleast one outside the gate to kill 6 invading felguard that gives you a cool tabard. I can't do it right now because the portal is overun with horde on my server, so I don't know if it gives rep or not.
Can we get a link to the quest/tabard?

I didn't get any rep from doing it, sadly. Tabard effect's cool, shame it's just the same AD tabard.
What affect does it have? I dont have the tabard in the first place, maybe i would be interested in getting it if it did something neat.
A big gold AOE blast effect and you flex. Looks cool, but doesn't actually do "anything"
Darn, nothing good. Who wants a female flexing? Kinda sick. Not worth the effort since i dont get any rep.

I like the tabard, and the flex/burst proves you were there when the Portal opened.

I take it you're on a PvP server? If so, that sucks and you'll either have to wait or just get a large enough force together.
If not, the overcrowding is easily solved. Get 3 mages to spam rank 1 AoEs. They'll tag, other people will get aggro, and the quest'll get done in record time.
It's what I did.
PvE server, but too many people standing in the middle of everything flagged. So I took my mage and stood off the to the side, tabbed over and over till I saw a red felguard and then hit fireblast. Didn't take too long, and either these 60s were easy kills or others were helping me kill them quickly! Couldn't really tell with so many people and it being a bit laggy. Now I just need to get my druid and shaman out there. I wonder if my human mage, at level 50, could get the quest? May have to go check!
