Bonus threat will no longer decrease as ranks increase.

Holy sh*t, is this saying what i think it is? If so bad call blizzard, buff warrior threat especially for multimob situations, but don't nerf druid threat at the same time.

Agreed, this is just insane. Us warriors STILL DON'T HAVE SCALING OR MULTITARGET THREAT, but if you nerf druids' threat, then who's gonna be able to tank 5-mans?

- Resisted spells will no longer break "Stealth"/"Vanish".
- Combo points added to a target should not be reset until you add a
combo point to a different target
- The Cooldown for "Blind" has been reduced to 3 min, from 5 min.
- There is no longer a random chance the effect of "Sap" will end
(i.e. removed the heartbeat resist check). The effect will still
end early when the target is damaged
- The "Cloak of Shadows" cooldown has been reduced to 1 min, from 2 min. Now a trainable ability at level 66.

I'm a happy camper :).

haha omg you aren't serious are you??? I'm a mage and when I die in BGs my buffs go down the drain... I have to rebuff and drink water, why shouldnt you have to re-summon your pet and drink up?

No news about the dead hunter pets in BGs...hoping that it was just left out of the notes. (No one saying anything about it on the main hunter forums either :().

Having your pet not rez with you in BGs was annoying as hell and pretty much either made them worthless, or caused you to take an extra minute or 2 rezzing, healing, feeding, then drinking back up before you got into battle.

Other stuff is nifty /shrug, kinda wondering about the BS/LW specialization things though.

Multi-shot has had its cost returned to pre-2.01 levels. Does that mean at 60 it will cost more or less mana? (I don't have the figures)

Because it costs money to raise your pet, but not to buff yourself. Hunters spend enough on ammo in BGs, no other class has the gold costs associated with PvPing that they do.

Also this is something that used to happen. They used to get their pet raised with them, but suddenly they don't. If you wanna be a little **** though you can keep killing their pet first instead of just killing them and leaving the pet alive. Do it enough and they'll all run out of money and have to go farm for pet food instead of continuing to queue for BGs. ;)

Less mana by a good amount. When 2.01 hit, the mana cost of multi-shot was increased by about 50%, that coupled with the Aimed shot changes (longer casting time, much longer cooldown, and inturrupting the autoshot cycle) made it much much less mana efficient to keep up high DPS rotations in raiding. (Especially with low Mp5 and usually smaller mana pools, and bugged as hell FD+drink). It's a very good change.

Thanks Cafeen!

Appreciate the info about Multi.

Also figured out last night that since Silencing Shot doesn't interrupt the auto shots, it's a great dps booster if you're going for pure burst dmg. Worth using even against non-casters if you have the mana to spare.

Paladins.

After all, what better way to make sure that after all Blizzard's hard work opening up pallies to the Horde, that people would be sure to roll one?

This is an expansion move, pure and simple. A week from now there'll be as many blood elf pallies as night elf hunters.

Paladins
- "Blessing of Might" now also increases ranged attack power.
- "Improved Righteous Fury" now also reduces all damage taken while active by 2/4/6%.
- "Improved Divine Shield" (Protection Talent) has been renamed "Sacred Duty" and now also increases total Stamina by 3/6%.
- "Improved Resistance Auras" has been renamed "Spell Warding", reduces all spell damage taken by the Paladin and is no longer tied to Resistance Auras.
- We have fixed a bug where the damage bonus from "Holy Guidance" was being added to physical attacks.
- "Divine Illumination's" duration has been increased to 15 sec, from 10 sec.
- There will no longer be a slight delay on receiving the buff from "Light's Grace" when it occurs.

I am happy with these changes.

Blizzard ate my Bongos!
I just got the Bongo interface program last week and I love it. I have everything all situated just perfectly and now with this mornings updates it no longer works. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a new way I have to load the program or directory to unzip it to? Any help would be great because I don't like Bliz's interface options.

Nah, this is incomplete. I read about a nerf to lifesteal, crusader, and icy enchant that isn't here. Also, the BIG changes to the way profession specialization works are not listed.

Sorry bout that, I just saw all I posted on a thread in the O-Boards, didn't realize there was more. :/

Ok, I'm dealing with most of the changes the patch brought...and hating it that cosmos is dead in the water, BUT, why the heck did I bother half killing myself to tame pets with faster AS if I was gonna lose that today with the patch???
All my cats are now 2.0AS! Sorry, some of the challenge and fun of being a hunter just washed right down the drain...sheesh. No more perks for hunting down those elusive rares or elites. All I can say is thank GOODNESS I didn't make it out to tame BT last night as planned. Camping out for 3 hours to find him and then waking up this morning to find out that he is just another normal pet would have truly sucked...lol

Oh gee, just had a thought. Maybe I should go get my ghost saber out of the stable and see if he's still transparent! =)

I'm rather liking the changes, though I didn't notice any differences to the Mage Armor icon.

I love that they changed the leatherworking recipes. I had recently begun trying to level up my rogue in lw just to go elemental to make the Stormshroud shoulders for my druid, but lw is not an easy thing to level up. So last night hubby and I take his 300 Tribal lw hunter and my druid to the waters of Azshara and kill Sons of Arkkoroc until the pattern drops(about 20 kills). He learned it and now all I need are the Essence of Air and I have them!

I also love to be able to talk to NPCs in cat form! And I took the opportunity to spec my druid up to Mangle(need 2 more levels to get OoC back), and it is sweet!

Also, take note-the new portal to Silvermoon is now in Undercity. Just after you enter the ruins, in the garden area, up the stairs to the right. My mage will be camped there to go to Silvermoon first thing and get the portals learned!
