Im asssuming this is like the equivalent to tier 0 gear at 60 based on the last comment by the pally.

Sorry if this is old news.

very nice info, kt.

interesting how the warrior already has already reached the require def to reduce crits from lvl73 mobs. although the pally states they are only in 65+ blues. the dodge on the warrior is the same as the druid's and he has a total of around 50% avoidance plus block. shouldn't the druid's dodge be a bit higher to make up? i can see he has much higher armor, but he's still going to take a lot more hits.

the lock has 140 spelldamage more than the mage. maybe at the cost of crit (makes sense), but 11/20% crit doesn't seem extremely high to me. maybe it's the gear. because even the priest has more +dmg/crit than the mage, which leads me to believe the mage isn't very well geared. the priest's healing stats are quite nice too.

the pala is going to be healing for ever with that mana, regen and crit rate.

can the druid do 800+ dps going all out unbuffed? that is a ********* i wonder what mages will be doing O_o

This is what I came up with based on a few assumptions:

very nice! rate-up.

now, you presume +600 dmg, +10% crit and 400 int. i already have that at 60. and it is less than what the lock in kt's example has. i presume the mage in kt's post is a bit undergeared (see above).

you come out with a maximum of 740 dps solo. although that is a lot, it's still less than what the druid states. although he does not mention the situation (group/raid buffs, pots, for how long etc.).

with all the buffs/debuffs in a raid and no poting, i can get over 700 on straight out dps fights (patchwerk).

so i presume in lvl70 raid situations, it will be significantly over 1k dps, even more with pots.

I assume the crit will be similar/the same as at 60. The damage was based on rough equivalence of current, unjeweled T4 to T3. I figured the numbers would likely be higher, but since I'm more worried about actual build comparisons than the numbers themselves, I'm happy with the 600. However, because I have it all on a spreadsheet and can plug in numbers, here you go, with the lock's +dmg, the fireball numbers:

Total FB Dmg: 1914.64
FB Crit Dmg: 2871.95
Ignite Damage 1148.78
Total Crit + Ignite 4020.73
Avg DPS: 832.29
DPM 7.47

thanks <3
and that's solo damage with average gear :-o

sure, to compare builds +damage is not that important. and yes, crit shouldn't go up much.

still, at 70 with full raid gear and enchants/jewels, it's going to rock :-D

Imagine, if you will:

You have 780 +dmg. You're in a 25 man raid with the 17/41/3. You have:
Imp Divine Spirit
Elemental Shaman with BOTH awesome totems
Moonkin
Potions out the wahoo
Wizard oil
A warlock rocking an Atiesh

Enemy has:
Talented CoE
Full imp scorch from another mage

You've been riding the threatline the whole fight. You're about 2 crits from pulling aggro.

The enemy hits 30%.

You pop invis. 8 seconds go by. You're OOC, have no threat on the boss and switch to your ToEP. By the time your ToEP cools down, the enemy hits 20%.

You gain Heroism.
You gain Ephemeral Power.
You gain Power Infusion.
You gain Combustion.
Molten Fury is now active on this boss.

Do you need a new pair of pants now?

I know I did when I first thought of it.

yup. optimal setup, but sounds really nice. i don't think they'll put the shadow priest, oomkin, shaman AND atiesh lock in my group and tell all the other casters to bugger off :-D

although it would be cool

Heh, i think i made a post back before BC was in beta predicting warriors to have 10k HP unbuffed. And somebody thought I was crazy.

They were right, i predicted quite a bit lower. Id bet on seeing 15k+ HP on warriors with some uber gear. Unbuffed.
