Right now I'm level 36. I have no interest in taking a week off work power-levelling my way to 60.
So, is there any reason I should get Burning Crusade when it comes out? or just wait a couple months 'til I'm lvl 60?

Honestly, I envy you having a job you care about more than playing WoW. I wish my career and personal life were so stimulating. Right now I am battling the temptation to quit my job and play WoW full-time.

Given your judicious regard for what is truly important in life, you probably will do just fine without it. The time to buy it is when you say "Hey, I need __________ that people have from Burning Crusade!" Until then, ignorance is bliss.
kinda what I meant is: what's gonna be in BC that I may need or want before I'm 60?

The only thing pre-60 is the new races, and jewelcrafting. If you don't want to reroll a new race, and don't care about jewelcrafting, you can wait it out.
