Right, i'm moving in the next month or so to Australia, currently live in England. Have a WoW account on an English server. If i put my account on hold for a month (time travelling for travelling out there, settling in and waiting for computer to be shipped over!) and start it up again over there, am i going to have any problems?
Obviously, my guild will all be asleep when i'm on game and looking for people to do runs with me could be tricky, but other than these elements of the game, will i have trouble being on an english server whilst in another country??

The only problem would possibly be lag if you don't have a decent ISP over there. Other then that, you should be okay.

i really dont think u will, i mean not that i have ever done anything like this, but it sounds like it will be np
no problem from my personal experience.
i worked in peru for 8 months and i'm on an eu server. i couldn't go to guild raids during the week. but you find people online 24 hours a day, especially on the weekends. you may play solo or with people that are on at "strange" server times. but there are people playing that work shifts, are students, unemployed or work nights and can play, so there are always a few around. the population is large enough.
you can probably get more overlap on the weekend. so you play late in the evening while your mates play in the afternoon.
connection speed is not that much of an issue. worldwide backbones can easily handle it. wow doesn't require that much bandwidth. as long as you have a reasonably good home line, you're ok. you don't need massive bandwidth, but having good ping times helps. the problem will be at blizzard's end more than yours ;-)
