What types of pets can people from the alliance get?
I'm not talking about hunter pets, i'm talking about pets like owls.
Also, are there pets only the horde can get but the alliance cannot receive or are all the pets from alliance stores/quests/drops?

Any suggestions for a pet i could get?

I know of ; Cat's in SW,Rabbit's in IF,Owls in Darny,Parrots in Booty Bay, and no more that I can think of in Alliance side.

There is a quest on Alliance side where you can get a prairie chicken as a pet.


I have read of a quest to get a sort of fey dragon pet on Alliance but I don't know much about it having not encountered it on any of my Alliance alts.


You can get the Horde vender pets on the Alliance & Neutral Auction Houses from time to time. These are a prairie dog, a snake and a roach.

The Sprite Darter Hatchling. It's from a short series of 40-ish level quests that start in Feralas.
It destroys horde with power of its cuteness.

Well, Alliance Can get all the Non-Combat Pets.
Prairie Dog , Rabbit , Cats, Owls, Whelps ,Snakes, Cockroaches, Parrots.

You also can get Snowman, Reindeer and a Helper Elf.( From Christmas Event )

Alot of These are from vendors, but it is possible to be bought from the neutral auction house in Booty Bay.

Don't forget the Mini-Murloc pet you can get from the TGC :D

I don't know the level requirement, but there are 2 quests inside Blackrock Mountain. One is where you capture a worg puppy and take it to the guy and he gives you a worg puppy to keep. Another is for a spider.

Also, check neutral Auction Houses...thats how I got my cat.

Or, set up a smuggling business like I'm doing. It requires help from a friend on the faction that you want the pet to go to -- make sure that you trust them. It takes a lot of work, but you can do it.

(Only reason I'm smuggling is a cat. I am getting a cat to give to a guildee. ^^)

Also, I read somewhere about Small White Kitten. It's a rare pet or something because the vendor only carries one total (1) and he only appears every so often. I think his name is Timmy. o.O?

Hint for smuggling

Make at least 2 characters.

Keep on in a place with neutral auction house. The other in a cap. city area so you can make money fast, buy pet, send to other char., put on AH and so forth.

Also, if you want, lets say, a cockroach. You could make a 3rd character and just keep them in Undercity.
Or, keep a character in each capital city for each kind of pet...but thats a waste of character space. :(
