Marksmanship - Highest Damage from your char, average damage from your pet.
Beast Mastery - Highest Damage and stats with your pet, average damage from your char.
Survivalist - Really have no clue how this helps, barely anyone talks about it.

I've thought about this myself.

What I've seen is.. Most everyone goes for around 2/3 Marksmanship, and 1/3 Beast Mastery.

I haven't really figured out why Survival is virtually ignored. I mean, it's got some very good abilities to gain, such as raising Range, Health, Improving Traps, and Wyvren Shot (A Shot that puts your enemy to sleep, then when they wake up hails then with some DOT). It could just be that MM and BM spec's yield better results? I'm not really sure.
