My apology to the Warrior CommunityFollow

I love PvPing with my warrior.... in a premade group where I know there's going to be at least one person SOMEWHERE in the BG actually casting heals. I don't obcess over whether they're healing me or someone else, I just want to know that somewhere out there, people are working as a team.

In a PUG, it's absolutely horrible. Alliance has practically ZERO understanding of trying to work as a team, I would say maybe 1 in every 20 PUGs. Even then they usually lose because Murphy comes in and says those teams are against premades which is just another setback.

I love pugging on my warlock or paladin though. On my Paladin I just follow people and heal them, so I ensure the teamwork is there. On my warlock, doesn't matter what others are doing. I'll fear people off a healer if I see them healing, but if it's a priest in shadowform or a druid in bear form, they're on their own, since they're obviously spec'd to deal with it.

Oh yeah and, just had to post in a legendary thread. It's not often that a thread has over half the replies on the first page rated at sub-default. That's just awesome.

i'll just ignore the name-callig and bickering.

people playing for kills are the ones costing everyone on their team honour. for 3 reasons:

1. going for kills instead of a win can lose you the bg and therefore all the bonus honour. bonus honour is >> kill honour.

2. kill honour has diminishing returns. after killing a player 10 times in a day, you get zero honour for further kills.

3. by going for kills, you draw out the duration of a bg. therefore, you get less bonus honor per time, although you may get more kill honour. considering 2., you might not even get more kill honour per time. remembering what i wrote in 1., long bgs are an honour loss.

Priests are still broken?

I got my *** handed to me by a Holy/Disc Priest the other night. Couldn't outdamage the healing.

With what class?

Druid or Pally it's simple. White Damage and heal through their entire mana pool. Then when they are OOM, which always happens especially with lolshadowpriests, you go to town on them.

Long fights yes, but funny when they go OOM and run away.

I'm sorry, I read this whole thread and I'm not sure if it ever said why Warriors were nerfed? I've never played one, I was just curious as to the reasons why.

I only really have the perspective of a Warlock and a Priest.

It seems from reading this thread that all classes are broken except for a rogue, which from my limited experience I get murdered by everytime. I still try to kill them, but so far I think I'm about 1-45 against them. Dirty backhanded ....

Edit - I forgot to agree with what Turicus said about worrying about HK's in a BG, I respecced out of Shadow because I started PVP'ing a lot lately in WSG around lvl 48 and was mainly healing the whole time instead of trying to kill. I liked the quick easy wins with me trailing our FC healing the whole time.

rage normalization is the biggest nerf. a 40% reduction in average rage gained on dealing damage. less rage = less damage dealt.

then theres the long standing problem of warrior un-soloability. warriors NEED support to be good. in fact, based on what many a blizzard rep has said, warriors are BALANCED around having someone tag along, healing and dispelling them. no other class is balanced around having another class with it. so in solo pvp, or in places where there is little-to-no support from other classes, playing a warrior is truly akin to smashing your d*ck in a drawer. when warriors do have support, they do well, assuming the other team is dumb enough to attack them before their support (thereby feeding the warriors rage, which = more damage).

there really is no need to apologize because so many people do it to so many other people. no one ever appreciates a warrior tanking, i see to many rogues try to tank when im on my warrior and i just ask, to you care to let me get a bit of hate before you go get your *** torn to peices? and when im on my priest rouges ask if i can heal their butts, i just let them die, not my job to keep them alive when they dont know that if you stand behind the cleaving mob, you dont get hit and they should learn to do their job.

on to the underpowered/overpowered subject...

when my friends and i twinked out the 49 bracket for a while, i learned how to take out any class, dealt with stance danceing, but at 60 it all changes... playing a warrior in pvp is a lot of luck, but a lot of skill and buying those little potions from the bg vendors helps too.

like i tell my friends, with your spec comes a style of playing, and with a sytle of playing comes ability.

what this means is, if you test out many many specs to find out what fits you most, and find what type of weapon works for you. a two hander, or two one handers. and then use your skills properly, then you can do just about anything to any toon that doesnt play their class properly. but even if they are playing their class properly for pvp you may still stand a chance. im switching between berserker stance and battle stance. i charge with battle stance, thunderclap or something to make that rage not go to waste. switch to berserker stance and wait for them to do something to me if it involves casting a spell. if its a mage, you're probably ******* if its a fearing class or other caster class you may stand a chance, use your pummel wisely, mainly when they're casting a fear. you also have berserker rage which you can cast while they fear you. (a few mods help called xpearl which is a gui that shows what spell the player is casting and when i see any sort of fear on warlocks i pummel) and if they get a fear off i use berserker rage which can be used during the fear. and then intercept. switch back to battle stance and if i see a heal or some sort of spell, i hotkey my shield and shield bash.

hope that helps a bit.

but i understand where you come from, every class gets badgered the way you do to warriors and some people just dont feal like leveling a warrior, im glad you decided to find out what it was like to be yelled at. just remember you can yell back, and if you're me, you usually make them cry cause you know what to say.

have fun pissing people off though!!!
