Quadra Magic totally didn't work with KotR.

He's thinking of W-Summon + Mimic materia on the other two characters :)

Dude, every battle in Final Fantasy 7 was easy when you had Final Attack- Full-Life

Ruby, for example, I pwned with W-summon-KOTR, and instantly died from Ultima retaliation, popped back up, and repeated.

No, what you're asking is a battle without Life, Phoenix, Final Attack, KOTR, or Omnislash.

To make the Sephiroth battle harder, use the weakest gear you can find and don't use the above skills. No W-anything, Master materia, or quad magic. Don't use Final limit breaks or any multi-hit attacks. No Gil Throw or 4x stuff.

Yeah... try beating Ruby without Final Attack, W-Summon, Quadra Magic, KotR, Omnislash OR 4x Cut.

Oh, and no Elixirs, since you can copy items with W-Item...

Maybe something thats not a permanent pet? Like from FFTactics, the summoner would summon Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut, and many more that would just PWN evry1 in the map.

What the hell? Have you even played WoW? You just said a Hunter is useless without a pet. If that was true, I wonder why people spec Marksmen and Survival? Because the skills make pretty effects?

I meant useless in the sense that if his idea of a summoner were created, it would most likely be a ranged class; esentially a hunter without the upkeep of pets: travel cost to get where the beast of your choice is, taming it, buying or finding food to feed it, getting its loyalty levels up, keeping it happy, stable expenses if you want more than one. Summoned creatures don't need that. If this class was created, hunters WOULD probably be useless, unless Blizzard decided to make it a melee class, which I doubt they would.

EDIT: Edited to correct typo.
