Hi,

I am on Runtotem server. I put my account name in and password but then when i log on i get message saying, "unable to connect".

Does any one no why this is happening???

I have tried turning pc off as well as my wireless router and back on at least 5 times now and still same problem.

My friend who is on same server can go on with no problems....Weird

Any advice is good, cheers

Where are you trying to connect from? and what type of internet connection do you have?

I know that Qwest is based in Denver, CO and anyone who has their DSL service or some of those small local ISP companies that piggy back on Qwest's lines are having some problems due to the terrible weather they have been experiencing.

I might suspect you have a firewall of some type since your buddy can connect fine. I don't think I would advise turning it off though. If there's a program control that lists the exe's (programs) allowed internet access, look for anything blizzard or wow and grant permanent access.

Firewalls are better left up (theres some nasty viruses going around right now).

Edit:

You can also determine how far along your connection is making it (whether or not it's your ISP) by visiting Blizz's technical support page and following their tracert test that will show the hops your connection makes and where it's bombing out along the way.

Good luck
