Go to Wailing caverns, clean and loot the whole instance, when you have done this go AH and Put up all the greens for 20s bid,30s buyout, more expensive if you think so, but mainly it all get sold with that price.maby 30s bid 40s bo if its a weapon.put up the deviate scales you got too.they sell pretty high.like this you earn lowest 8g per WC run.and onwe run at lvl 45 with melle class takes like 30 min. enjoy =)

Good honest work. Thanks for sharing that suggestion. With lower level items I sometimes wish more people would put stuff up on the AH. It benefits you and the buyer.

I've been rushing a new hunter and had my hubby's 60 hunter run me through WCx1, Deadminesx2, SFKx2 and BFDx1 over the past three days. Aside from going from level 17-almost 22, I've made nearly 25gold from selling the low level greens and linen/wool(before checking the mail this morning).

And I appreciate the OP saying to sell items at 20-30s. I get so irritated seeing a known level 60 post low level green gear for 1g or higher. There really is no reason to and most low levels cannot afford it. And even my alts won't spend that kind of money on something low level green-you usually out-level it(or find something better) within a day or a few hours! My rule of thumb is to double the sell-to-dealer price as the bid and a third more to buyout(7s to dealer would be 14s bid, 21s buyout). Wool and linen vary, but I've been getting 90s per wool stack and I came out of Deadmines with 180 wool! (and yes, I skilled up my first aid first!)

=)

Amusingly enough, I’ve been making runs through Wailing Caverns of late with some of my 60s. I’m a role-player at heart. I’d prefer a cool new non-combat pet over an artifact weapon. I’d even take a turtle mount over one. *smiles* And I also like to dress up my characters. I hate how so many high level characters look like clones of each other. So I’m perfectly happy to devote bank space to fun outfits to wear when in town, practicing my weapon skills or farming lower level profession supplies. And there are several bits of unusual looking armor that drop in Wailing Caverns.

I was rather surprised with how many greens have been dropping. I used to do some instance farming over a year ago and as best I remember not even half this many greens dropped. After a couple of runs I’ll be out of bag space and I have 16 slot bags.

I like selling low level gear in the AH. I never added up the money. That wasn’t the point. I’ve started characters on other servers and I’ve been very frustrated at the lack of low level items. And often the few that were listed were far too expensive for a low level character to buy. So I always sell mine cheap.

I just use the suggested bid price as a guide. If it says 1 silver I’ll price the buyout at 3 silver. If it suggests 7 silver I’ll price the buyout at 10 silver. The most I mark up low level items is an additional 5 silver. I figure this way everyone is a winner. I get a few coins, which weren’t my goal in the first place, new players get a chance to buy affordable gear, those playing the AH can buy it and try to resell it if they choose to and enchanters can buy it to level up low level enchanting. Every once in a while I’ll get a piece or two back, but most of it sell very quickly.

I’ll have to get a post ready for next week with screen shots of my characters and the items they are wearing. I think you’ll find it most amusing. Just don’t tell my characters I’m going to post photos. I’m certain I’ve completely embarrassed them as it is.

WC varies a lot....
i have had runs with only 7 greens
and 1 run with my hunter and a friend where we had 4 blues and more greens than either of us could carry.
she was happy too cause we ran into the fairy dragon and that dragon dropped a nice blue wand for her (mage)
and i just love that big Murloc you get to kill after everything is done ^^
and perfect deviate scales for up to 1g a piece isnt bad either if you leave with 14 :P
