WSG Exploits (my first real encounters)Follow

So since raiding pretty much died off on my mains until the expansion, I decided to rekindle my PvP toons and get them geared/leveled up.

I play on Anetheron (horde side though :P) (I did see some TFS members in BB the other day and waved. ... Actually I planned on following you out but then I saw I would have been outnumbered/outleveled ;) )

Anyway,

I have read plenty about people exploiting in WSG but never really saw it.

Then I had my first encounter, Gnome used the exploit on horde roof to get behind the logs. Reported. In addidition to taking the high road I also took the low road, made a toon on his server called "ZopIsACheat" and spammed a bit (petty i know, but it made me feel good and thats what counts :P )

GM responded that they would look into it. I have not seen him on since then though I checked very randomly.

Next one happened last night. We were winning by 1 and the guy on our team did the other horde side exploit where you walk allll the way around the roof. I won't go into more detail (it's different from the prior one, though both are in the horde base). Reported.

(And yes I grabbed screenshots of both instances.)

The GM conversation was interesting. He whispered me right as I was grabbing the flag. knowing that GM conversations are a lot of waiting while they check stuff I kept playing (I did end up with the winning cap though it was several games after the cheating one. :) )

So I'm plodding along then realized i wasn't watching the GM conversation when I see:

GM-somename: I'm so sorry.
me: huh?
*scrolls up*
GM-somename: "Greetings Balii, It has come to our attention that one of your characters has violated the harasment policy. Please see the email to your registered account for more information"
*scrolls back down*
GM-somename: I'm so sorry, I typed it into the wrong window.
Me: LOL wow you scared me.
GM-somename: I scared me!

So apparently they must have a multi-chat window interface and he sent the "you ****** up message" to me instead of the guy I reported. He apologised again and wished me well.

Made me laugh though.

Anwyay, hopefully 2 less cheaters for at least a little while.

Wait who is your Antfarm toon? And what level and such?

I dont want to be mean to you if i see you. That is of course if you're anywhere near any of my alts levels.

Oh, speaking of TFS, if I transfer my 45 hunter over to Anetheron, can I get in? I don't want to intrude onto any raid spots (not that I can raid atm anyway); I just want socialization. My RL friend left the server that my hunter is currently on and I really don't want to go to the server that he went to. Feel free to reply in a PM if you guys want.

No need to hold back, I am a red=dead type of player and expect the same from the other side :) Otherwise why roll on a PvP server.

I have had people try to camp me before, they never get more than 2 kills, the first which would have caught me by surprise, and the second before I realized they were camping me. After that as a 0/0/31 spec rogue if my cooldowns are up I'm very hard to catch. And I love the challenge of trying to get away :)

Srellik :) I like names that are reversed words... Quite fitting for a PvP server.

nope, twasn't me. I usually don't bother raiding towns until I'm 60.

There is a Balli on the server though I think, and also Bali (none of those are me)
