Hey I just quit FFXi yesterday and started playing WoW again. I was just wondering which is the best damaging dealing job. On FFXI i was high level Warrior and Thief....any advice would be grateful. I played WoW a very long time ago...I think i was 40 Rogue.
Rogues and Hunters are great damage dealers. They also sound like they're more your play style.
Play some different classes see which one you like. Hunters, rogues, mages, fury warriors in the past (I know they have been whiny lately), warlocks, shadow priests, catloldps (druid), shaman, retn00b (paladin). Have I listed every class now?
You can get pretty good dps out of any class spec'd and geared appropriately. The defined roles of a class are much different than FFXI. Just find one you like playing.

If you had an account before, just reinstate it. Your L40 Rogue will still be there.
