I was wondering what the most PvE friendly server there was. I got tired of getting ganked so now I am going to make a new character on PvE, I hope it's better. So I am doing research and asking your opinion for this process and I hope you have something good to say. :P

I also don't know what to do horde or alliance, my other character is horde and I was thinking, "Wouldn't alliance be better since you don't already know it and it would be a change of pace?"

So all help is appreciated!

I would personally recommend Khadgar, but then again it's growing in population lately. However, it's real friendly and I actually had very few encounters with immature players when leveling my two 60s there. The economy is stable too. Oh yeah, the que times for BGs are mad short.

Just don't roll on Durotan. I was 1018 in queue when I tried to get on tonight. 130 minute wait and counting.

Ok, Thanks a ton puremorning. That helps a lot. Are you horde or alliance? I am sorry to hear that fnordicus.

Now I have another question. What would you say the best PvE class is? On my PvP server I have a 34hunter, 29warlock, 12mage, 23priest, and a 16shaman. So I don't know what class would be best for PvE leveling. All help is appreciated!

Edit: I forgot what profs would you find best for PvE also?

The class you'd enjoy the most is the best class for a PvE server, same as it is for a PvP server(only consideration here is more vigilance).

Oh, and for profs, pick whatever you want, though mining+skinning is often recommended as a good money source(and ore will be selling really well come TBC for Jewelcrafting).

No problem. Yeah, I'm alliance (I have a horde toon on a PVP server). The imbalance of horde: alliance isn't too bad on Khadgar either. The only times I have ques for the server, although it's getting up in population, is like 6-8 server time..and at max it's about 20 mins. Never a que otherwise. Good luck with whatever you choose :)

Tearsofjoy, nothing personal, but I rated down your second post.

Has nothing to do with the color of your name or your postcount. I rate down ALL "what's the best ***" posts.

I don't usually state that I rated them down, but with the current rage over rating, someone is gonna think it's because you're a low post count sage, it's not.

It is fine that you rated me down. I only have sage cause I wrote a very good guide one time. I don't think that the ratings are worth anything so it's truly fine.

One thing though, I appreciate you telling me what I did that you didn't like. Now I know what you don't like and I will try and avoid posting these kind of questions since others may also not like them.

Whats the problem with posts like this? I think its very helpful to get peoples views on servers e.t.c. i mean it warns us away from joining on a server with an over 1000 queue which is incredibly frustrating for anyone, especially people with limited time to play.

It's not so much that there's necessarily anything wrong with them on principle, it's that there is a sticky that fairly well covers the question if you just look(it even has a nifty table of contents).

At least that's why I dislike these kinds of questions(and I know I'm not alone in that reasoning).

I'd also like to take the time to thank danieldakkak and tearsofjoy for being very civil about it.

It's very refreshing compared to what else has been going on lately.

I cannot think of a single better reason for attaining Sage status.

No disrespect implied but I see no point in rating down a courteous and civil poster even if the topic may not be the freshest. We have few enough as is so in that spirit i will rate him up. Tearsofjoy please post as you wish. Take care.
