Dude, wait more than 1 hr before posting sad faces because nobody responded.
My first suggestion is listen to the raid leader. In theory, the RL will know the pulls and at least some form of strategy for the bosses. "Holy pally" suggests to me you'll be healing so you won't have to worry about breaking the crowd-controlled mobs, however, if you see someone else break a crowd controlled mob don't be afraid to stun it until it can be re-CCed or until a tank can get it. Worst-case, you have plate mail, it won't 2-shot you.
Second, be prepared. Show up, on time, fully repaired, with mana and health pots. Even if you're the best pally in the world, nobody wants to wait for you or hear that your shield is red after dying once.
Third, and most importantly, HAVE FUN. It's a game. If you're after the phat purpz and are doing ZG for the first time, it's all going to get replaced within the first week or two of BC anyways.
For more specific pointers (and I know very little about pallies), you can use your consecration AoE effectively in the bat and panther fights. And your stun thing (I don't know the name) is awesome against the blooddrinkers. You'll love those guys.
Have fun!
